to their deaths by cutting their Vital water supply lines, the same water lines for which Two Innocent Kukis paid dearly & brutally with their lives to rapair last month.
On March 11, Tangkhul terrorists brutally murdered 2 inncocent Kukis repairing their village's vital water channels & irrigation lines that kept their fields & families alive.
For weeks, Tangkhuls had choked off every lifelines to their village, blockading every road & every supply route to deliberately starve pregnant women, the elderly & children of essential commodities, including food & life saving medicines.
Left to scrape by & survive on whatever their fields & shrinking local water sources could provide, the kuki villagers are now faced with the same danger.

The SP of Imphal West, #Manipur Police, confirms that Meitei protesters, who have been protesting nonstop for the past several days and nights, were mostly drunk and high on drugs. The protesters were supplied with petrol bombs, kerosene bombs, catapults, iron projectiles, and even alcohol and drugs by “unknown actors.”

📢 WHO IS NSCN-IM'S THUINGALENG MUIVAH? -Vilhouthie Rhiepfu & MK kamei. "Since the 1990s, more than 500 members of the NNC, NSCN-K, & individuals from the Zeliangrong region, including ZUF, have been mercilessly tortured & killed by NSCN-IM under the pretext of Christ & sovereignty." "Th Muivah is a Tangkhul Naga who joined the Naga National Service only in 1965 & was given the post of General Secretary by the Naga National Council. After a few years he was sent by the Federal Government of Nagaland on a goodwill Alee mission. While in the foreign country, he was given a lot of honour because of his association with the NNC. However, driven by personal ambition for power curl complete domination of the national defense, he started plotting against his own colleagues & eliminating those who disagreed with him. On their return journey from the foreign country, while crossing the Kachinland, he murdered Brigadier Ngamlao, Konyak & some others & started intimidating the others in the group. Many who survived this trip still remember Muivah's words where he said "Kun Kun Phizo pichie jabo, guli ekta ekta khabo." (Whoever sides with Phizo will each get a bullet). In his booklet "Manifesto & Polorization" (1980/1985) Muivah repeatedly called A.Z. Phizo, his family members, the Angamis & all who supported the Angamis as "Arch-Traitor" of the Naga Nation branding them as traitors & deceivers of the nation & being guilty of betraying the national cause. But now, in a complete turn about, it is most amuzing to hear him praising Phizo & almost worshipping him again. In the light of all the contradictory statements, one is left wondering as to how many Muivahs actually exist as one Muivah is often heard saying the exact opposite of the other Muivah! It is common knowledge that Muivah joined the Naga National Service as late as 1965 only. Such a latecomer thinking & acting as if he alone can solve the Indo-Naga conflict is an act of self disillusionment which cannot evoke the respect and honour of any right thinking Naga. In Naga national politics, NSCN is not NNC & NNC is not NSCN. Long before Muivah had even reached puberty, the national affairs of the Naga Nation had been mandated on the NNC by the Nagas. In this effort, he is using the Naga national cause as a parent body, & while opposing the Manipur state is subversively trying to integrate the rest of Nagaland too under the Constitution of India. However, the Naga national affairs are in the hands of the NNC & the Council does not require the service of a Muivah to meddle in the affairs of the nation. Such a service is not only "un-required" but even invalid too. Muivah's uncountable records of murdering even his own people & intimidation of the general Naga public have all been documented & kept by his own people. In this connection, the general Naga public are urged to read the interviews compiled by David Swu in his book "Interview with Naga Leader." At this present juncture, our people are being subjected to a lot of inconveniences & difficulties because of Muivah & his activities. On the one hand many villagers have been forced to abandon their homes and villages and live like refugees in neighbouring villages. On the other hand, the hosting villages have been compelled to look after there dispersed villagers at the cost of sacrificing so many working days, inability to attend to their field works, none attendance of schools by school children and fearfully living side by side with gun totting cadres of the NSCN-IM. MEIRA PAIBIS: THE TORCH BEARERS OF TERROR. 🔖The year 1977, is a pivotal moment for Manipur,it saw two events mirror each other in their symbolic weight. First, the formation of Meira Paibis in Kakching. Second, the birth of terrorist groups like Preepak & shortly after PLA, KCP, Poirei Liberation Front. Meitei insurgents stepped up their activities during 1979-81. They unleashed a violent campaign of killing security forces. The number of persons killed in acts of violence went up from two in 1978 to 14 in 1979, 36 in 1980 & 51 in 1981. In order to tackle the situation,the entire Imphal Valley was declared a disturbed area & AFSPA was imposed on the Valley in September 1980. 🔖Initially a grassroots movement advocating for justice & community welfare, Meira Paibis soon became entwined with Meitei Terrorists & the boundary between activist & insurgent blurred early. Over time, evidences began linking Meira Paibis to these terrorists organisations. 🔖The nexus between meitei terrorists & Meira paibis was uncovered with the arrest of R K Rina alias Ningol, general Secretary of the Meira paibis who was also an active cadre of PLA in Sept 19, 2010 for planning PLA's 32nd Raising Day & recruitment drives for the terrorist group. A weapon was also recovered from her possession. 🔖Another arrest the same year on sept 27,2010 revealed that PLA cadre SS Sgt Kangabam Ibomcha, who confirmed PLA's strategy to build ties with Meira Paibis & use them to recruit youth into PLA & monitor army movements. "RPF, the political wing of PLA is expanding its reach and is recruiting new cadres. In an attempt to make inroads into Meira Paibis & other social organizations, it is funding them. It has paid ₹135,000 to SLUCO (Singjamei Lilong Area) & ₹104,000 to AFCO of Sagolband. It was planning to spend some ₹300,000 rupees on its 32nd Raising Day." The investigation revealed. 🔞"It is no secret that the meira paibis have often unwittingly allowed themselves to be used as human shields by various militant outfits. Whenever security forces identify an insurgents hideout & come close to nabbing one, the meira paibi would emerge & engage the forces long enough for the combatant to escape & thereby evade arrest. 🔖The large majority of Manipuri society, including the very educated,articulate & widely-travelled scholars are all indoctrinated to believe that armed rebellion against the Indian state is a necessary evil. 🔖The meira paibis are just one of the many civil society groups of Manipur who have steadfastly held on to the notion that armed militants are actually putting their lives on the line for a greater Manipuri cause & that they, therefore,deserve respect & even adulation." 🔞"Naturally the conduct of meira paibis also does not bear close scrutiny. Over the past few days, nightly Meira rallies are taking place in various areas of Imphal. During several of these occasions, many anti-social elements, under the guise of protesters, have engaged in violent activities. These include the use of petrol bombs, catapults fitted with iron projectiles, and stone pelting directed at security forces. It has also been observed that many protesters are under the influence of liquor or other intoxicants. Furthermore, it has been learnt that some instigators are supplying petrol/kerosene bombs, catapults and iron projectiles ahead of these rallies. Despite these provocations, security forces have exercised maximum restraint while dispersing the gatherings, with the aim of preventing any collateral damage. In light of the recent incidents, the concerned agencies are actively carrying out their lawful duties. An appeal is hereby made to all law abiding citizens to cooperate with law enforcement agencies in maintaining peace and harmony and to refrain from violence, destruction of public property and other unlawful activities. Legal action will be initiated against those involved in violence, as well as against instigators.

🚨Yesterday's incident at ukhrul, deep inside Tangkhul heartland was nothing more than another bloody chapter in their fratricidal violence, fuelled by the unrelenting rivalry b/w NSCN-IM & its Eastern Flank faction.
While EF (Burma) is determined to assert total regional dominance, the mainstream IM refuses to cede any ground or yield an inch of its territorial control.
Only Last month, following the ambush & killing of 4 of their "On mission in ukhrul" cadres by IM, 100s of EF militants slipped across the border & infiltrated into India for another "mission" in Ukhrul.
This escalation fits a well-documented pattern of Naga factional clashes that've repeatedly destabilised the region.
More importantly, the Tangkhul civilians involved had already safely crossed through Kuki areas on their return from Imphal without any incident.
Once they left Mongkot & reached Litan, they've entered into territories recognised as safe zones for them, which is precisely why security forces provided escort only up to Litan. Beyond that point, right up to the ambush site, there is zero Kuki presence, only Central Forces deployments, Litan Police station & Tangkhul bunkers lining the entire stretch, rendering it a fully fortified corridor under Tangkhul control.
The fact that the attack occurred in this impregnable Tangkhul-controlled corridor, rather than in Kuki areas they had just safely crossed points squarely to rival Naga factions Settling scores within their own heavily fortified backyard.
In light of these circumstances, the incident point towards internal fractures tearing through the Tangkhul armed groups far more than any external threat.
But even if the slightest doubt still persist about Kukis involvement, 1 fundamental truth remains: It was the Tangkhuls who drew first blood & set this dangerous precedent, long before any reciprocal action.
The first blood was spilled on 11 March, when Tangkhul Terrorists kidnapped several Kukis.
1 escaped with bullet wound to the leg, while 2 others Thangboi & Thengin were mercilessly torutured & brutally murdered.
Instead of showing remorse, the Tangkhul armed outfit Khanuithot issued a brazen quit notice to the grieving families, warning them of similar fate if they failed to comply.
From that day, A string of unprovoked ambushes against Kuki civilians began.
21 March, kuki civilians, including women & chilren travelling Leplen-Thingpibung road, were fired upon & 1 woman was shot in her waist & another woman elsewhere.
23 March, an 18 yr old Kuki girl was shot in the leg during an unprovoked attack.
The following day, Tangkhul Terrorists fired volleys of indiscriminate gunfire & explosion near a tuition centre full of panic-stricken schoolchildren, during which 1 civilian sustained shrapnel wounds.
That same afternoon, tangkhuls ambushed & opened fire on Buses full of Class X students returning home after their board examinations.
8 April, Innocent civilians, including women & 2 year old toddlers travelling the same road were fired upon by Tangkhul Terrorists, causing their vehicles to veer off the road.
17 April, an innocent farmer harvesting vegetables with his elderly mother & a friend was ambushed & shot twice, once in the face, once in the shoulder.
Had these attacks proven fatal & had fate not intervened, the Tangkhul-inflicted death toll would've exceeded 50.
Mercifully, most victims survived.
BUT survival does not erase the clear murderous intent, these were deliberate attempts to massacre innocent schoolchildren in their classrooms, farmers in their fields & ordinary travellers on public roads.
So, even granting the minimal possibility of any Kuki link to the latest ambush at Tangkhul's heartland, a claim the security layout & factional history render highly improbable, 1 crucial fact must not be forgotten, No matter how one views the latest incident, the timeline is crystal clear.
It was the Tangkhuls who drew first blood & set this dangerous precedent, not the Kukis!!

The Kuki-Zo Council has denied any role of Kuki-Zo groups in the recent ambush near T.M. Kasom village in Ukhrul district that killed two people.
The council said reports linking Kuki groups to the attack were unverified and unsupported by evidence, urging people not to jump to conclusions while the incident is still under investigation.
The statement came after allegations by some Tangkhul organisations that Kuki militants were behind the ambush on vehicles travelling from Imphal to Ukhrul. The council appealed for restraint and cautioned against spreading misinformation that could further inflame tensions in Manipur.

On March 28, 2026, when NSCN-IM killed four cadres of another NSCN faction belonging to the NSCN-Eastern Front, various social media handlers from both the Tangkhul and Meitei Minai communities — under the watchful eyes of @ukhrultimes and @LIANGMAIPOST — dragged the innocent Kuki-Zo community into it. After some time, people from their own communities clarified the situation and exposed their own fake narratives with the truth.
In today’s incident as well, there is not even 0.1% involvement of the Kuki-Zo community. This is clearly another case of a factional war between NSCN-IM and either NSCN-EF or MNRF.
For those keypad warriors who don’t even understand the location or who controls the area of the incident — Mongkot Chepu, Litan Sareikhong (Kuki areas), Leinganching, TM Kasom, New Heaven, Shokhova, and Lambui (Ramva) — these villages all belong to the Tangkhul community, and all NSCN factions operate in these areas. To be precise, bloodshed and killing one another is nothing new for the so-called NSCN factions; this has been their doctrine and practice since the 1980s.
