@giancar73012035 The unfortunate truth is that we all know Bungie is gonna cave, and instead of keeping PvP the main focus, Marathon will get a PvE mode that pulls almost all of the low skill/casual audience out of PvP, which will increase queue times and ping. Welcome to Destiny 2: 2.

Like if you have beaten the compiler, you can queue solo with fill on and get a free DNA key and maybe bonus loot, but you'll be matched with two other people who haven't beaten the compiler before

I have been briefed on an incident that occurred at Grand Central Station this morning. Reports indicate a man slashed three people on the platform with a machete. Officers shot the man when he did not drop the machete. He has since been pronounced dead.
I’m grateful to the NYPD for their quick response and for preventing additional violence. The three victims were taken to the hospital and are thankfully in stable condition. The NYPD is conducting an internal investigation and will release body-worn camera footage, as it does in all incidents involving the discharge of an officer's firearm.

Cryo Archive feels genuinely oppressive right now. I don't know how they fix this but the matchmaking seems so out of control for higher season level people.
Yes "git gud", "its endgame" etc etc but these are the sorts of things that make the potentially long term Marathon players (and therefore customers) fall off hard.
Right now its just teams of hardcore players running around with the sole objective of stopping people from actually experiencing the vaults and then the compiler.
I don't think the actual map and its AI need to be changed but something about the matchmaking has to. If they want to keep people hooked, they need to feel that the complier kill is achievable because right now its miserable for many who aren't playing this game for 8 hours a day. No I don't think a PvE version is the answer at all.
I know both @Skarrow9 and @RyGilliam touched on this as well in their own tweets and videos. Hope Bungie can pull something off here.
