Has #Turahalli become a dumping ground for trees? It’s a forest! The law is clear: forests aren’t places to ritually plant trees by just about anyone. It’s the job of Karnataka Forest Department to regulate against such insane planting, and ensure the forest is rewilded.

No doubt it is a delightful sight.My biggest concern is the urban pollution that it carries. You must have silt trap,sedimentation pond and wet land at such inlets or else the waterbody will be filled with silt etc in quick time rendering the investment wasteful.

Finally, KC Valley lift irrigation test water flows into Ghatahalli lake .. Soon will flow into Muthanallur lake through stormwater drains to get lifted to 40 plus lakes in Anekal Tq. Result: Successful. Note: It's test water, and contain mud in the first discharge ..
