Rayalaseema has only 7 pitlines Tirupati- 5 Guntakal- 2 Costa has 16 pitlines + 3 under construction Kurnool needs pitlines to start trains from the city. 2 pitlines should be built in KRNT/CMLR workshop immediately while doubling is underway. @SCRailwayIndia @ByreddyShabari

Why is Kurnool City Railway Station still kept under South Central Railway (SCR) while the entire Andhra Pradesh state comes under the South Coast Railway (Visakhapatnam Zone)? 🤔 This decision is unfair and harmful for the future connectivity of Kurnool City. 📍 Ground Reality: SCR is currently focusing railway development only up to Mahabubnagar and is not extending trains further to Kurnool City. Because of this, Kurnool is losing important train connectivity and railway development opportunities. ⚠️ If Kurnool continues under SCR, the city may face: • Reduced train connectivity 🚆 • Less priority in railway development 📉 • Long-term neglect in railway infrastructure 🏗️ Meanwhile, the rest of Andhra Pradesh is already part of the Visakhapatnam-based South Coast Railway Zone. 👉 So why should Kurnool be left behind? 🙏 I sincerely request the authorities and leaders to merge Kurnool City Railway Station into the South Coast Railway (Visakhapatnam Zone) so the city can receive fair development, better train connectivity, and equal attention like the rest of Andhra Pradesh. 📢 Kurnool deserves better railway connectivity and equal treatment! #Kurnool #AndhraPradesh #IndianRailways #SouthCoastRailway #RailwayDevelopment
