We’ve been at a nexus of culture for a while. So many voices and screens vying for our attention and there’s a reason so much of it falls flat. It’s not attention economy—I don’t even think it factors in. It’s truth, and a contention of what truth is. Art use to convey meaning; it use to speak to deeper truth’s. What value do any of these experiences truly hold if we take nothing away from it but loss of time? Fun? That’s fleeting, forgotten and converted into nostalgia. We need new artist; new speakers of truth. Not agenda, not political; real truth; experienced truth. Inspirational, innovational, spiritual, living truth. The truth talkers have been silenced for a while now. Take off your muzzles, raise your voices, contend the false narratives, the greedy agendas, combat the great deceivers, wield your tongue. Narratives will collapse, industries reformed, sanity restored. But only if those gifted in truth stand up against it. The insane flood the street, screeching like banshees, but your voice is bold, it is full, it will shatter foundations with a whisper. So speak, whisper, roar. Shake the world with revelations. The time is now.

Someome figured out infinite flight in Crimson Sky. Yeah, the game will be popular for years. Mods will be everywhere. Pearl Abyss has created a “ecosystem” game like Skyrim or GTA and it will last a long time.

@DustinNeon @TheRustedGear If you have then why wouldn’t you have a more productive response. It’s not always skill issue. Sometimes it’s preference. And sometimes just because things are more difficult doesn’t mean it’s more fun. I enjoy Helldivers on tier 9-10 but sometimes I just want to chill on 5.

@DustinNeon @TheRustedGear It’s not skill issue though. They’ve increased the amount of enemies and are about to copy paste the shredders on all maps increasing all maps difficulty. When I first starting playing it was the perfect amount of enemies and PvP.

But most people can not handle that these days and want shit handed to them with daily new things cause of short attention

Assume whatever you want. That’s what most gamers do. They revolve their entire identity around how good they think they are at a video game. You clearly do not care about others experiences in games. Sometimes it’s not about how much skill something takes to achieve. Most people who play games can play arc and deal with the arc. Acting like you’re able to do something more than the average gamer is just weak. People play games for different reasons. Instead of attacking players over skill issues maybe think a little more about it. Having more maps, better enemy diversity, and scaled difficulty based on these things allows all people to enjoy the game how they want to. The skill issue copy repeat posts get old and are just brainrot logic. I understand why you’d think it’s a novel, makes sense.

@1FlyingCarpet @CarSnobOnKick More increasing the “more enemies” slider is the same as the “bigger health bar same enemy” slider. It’s just boring and lazy. Just make enemies harder or add unique enemies for maps. Spamming a bit of poppers and fireflies feels like trash.

They need to limit the types of arc and amounts in maps. I prefer an Elden Ring type vibe. Less enemies over all but more scary. Also map themed enemies. Unique enemies to locations and logical reasons for them to be there instead of just copy pasting them on every map. It’s so lazy and uninteresting story telling and world building.

Is it? Some things just aren’t fun. I could skill check you in several games. Sometimes it’s not about skill but how a game plays. Gamers like you are just low iq trolls with nothing better to say. You don’t solve anything and end up pushing more players away increasing the rate the game dies. Ignoring things other players don’t like and writing it off as skill issues brainrot. You can even think of anything new to say, so you just repeat other things you’ve heard when you disagree with something. Have you tried forming your own sentences or opinions? Maybe try some reasoning? Or does that short circuit your neural pathways?

Logical fallacy. People like Colbert like it because it’s a work of art and they want to take advantage of it. Why do they try so hard to change and corrupt the heart and soul of it? The "popularity" of Marathon may have been astroturfed. Evidence from the leaked Discord thread shows they were allegedly paid $5 per main Reddit post and $3 per comment/reply. There is no confirmation yet whether this is true or not, but it could signal Bungie's desperation to combat the negative press the game is getting... because 19K off peak and barely over 40k on peak hours is not gonna be enough to sustain this game long term, due to the costs and budget of the game. Steam review manipulations have also occurred in the past with games like SKIBIDI BACKROOMS, Monsters Domain, Lonely Knight, and Blue Archive. But the disconnect between high steam reviews and the rapidly vanishing playerbase is real... and some people are saying that the positive Marathon reviews are allegedly coming from low-playtime accounts. Even recently, Bungie was accused of scrubbing negative feedback on the Xbox store, where the ratings jumped from ~2.5 to 4+ stars after negatives vanished...
