ryu— [ brainstorming ] each module now has its own timeline, which means you can give a "global" program (storing random seed, colour palettes, artwork dimensions, long-loading data) an independent history to your "main" program (the artwork).

Re-sharing this essay given recent news. The design of Mastodon makes it not much more resistant to concerns of centralization and takeover. All of our choices today still fall short of "sufficient decentralization" for a social network. → mirror.xyz/mattdesl.eth/_…
