@ElephantofLox @UziCryptoo Could you please explain how you have peace of mind not having a mortgage? What does it change at all for you?
English

Just heard the best/worst caller on the Dave Ramsey podcast.
Married couple, under 30. $145,000 household income. Came on the show to celebrate paying off the mortgage on their $450,000 Georgia home.
Said they starting paying it off early 5 years ago, meaning they had a low interest rate home loan (probably <3%) and started to aggressively pay it down right as interest rates were starting to rise.
Dave Ramsey loved it, launching into a lecture about how 26-year olds who say they can’t buy homes should look at this couple for inspiration. Hahaha.

@robovelt @TRobinsonNewEra Typical. Good luck fighting your stupid culture war while the world burns
English

@mctrees @TRobinsonNewEra If u hang out near planned parenthood they’ll bring out boxes and boxes of dead babies u can jack it to or whatever
English

@robovelt @TRobinsonNewEra Sorry you guys take mentally ill people and turn into examples of racist examples to blame “the left”
English

@Ulysses_Wept @bonchieredstate Complaining that someone is talking about something you don’t find important is a pissbaby take 🖕
English

@bonchieredstate Mad respect that you're beating this guy down during the great Trump blasphemy debacle.
Not even being sarcastic. Eyes on the ball.
English

@mctrees @TRobinsonNewEra Sorry the police stopped your friend from killing a baby
English

@TRobinsonNewEra Yeah, because you’re a racist. The fact the cops were right there shows either how safe you were or how full of shit you are. I’m guessing a little fro column A, and a little from Column B.

NEW: Police have released more info about the "Harry Dresden" break-in in Fairfield, CA, say both the homeowner & Nichols sustained head injuries.
Police are praising the "actions of the homeowner" who raced home to confront 30-year-old Jason Nichols with a shovel.
Authorities say that the homeowner's wife and child were inside when Nichols broke in. When Nichols was unable to break in through the front door, he broke in through a sliding glass door.
"The homeowner's husband, who was away at the time, observed the suspect through a home security camera and immediately returned to the residence," said police.
"As the suspect entered the home, the homeowner returned, armed himself with a shovel, and confronted Nichols."
"A physical altercation ensued, during which both the homeowner and Nichols sustained head injuries."
"We are grateful that the family is safe and commend our officers for their swift response in bringing this dangerous situation to a safe resolution."
The woman and child were reportedly unharmed.

@InternetH0F I'on know, man. He's talking about it awfully calmly.
Where's the documentation that the baby actually died. Bc he sounds to me like somebody who just says his daughter died so he could take off work on Black Friday, but it didn't really happen.
Sorry, I just don't believe him.
English

@Ardwn37 @EsotericCD Are you under the impression that sources who speak to liberal outlets are just as happy to talk to conservative ones? Are you 12?
English

@EsotericCD You are the media. There are a huge number of right leaning outlets. If partisanship is at work, why did none of them report? And why do you minor right wingers always have to circulate the "can you believe the NYTimes reported this" stories, because your own pubs do jack?
English

Apparently everyone on Capitol Hill knew about Swalwell for years, and this story was only reported after being delivered, wrapped in a bow, to the media - and only because Swalwell was a threat to his Democratic opponents, not because...he might be a rapist and is provably scum.
So spare me the self-congratulatory tongue-bath.
Brian Stelter@brianstelter
Eric Swalwell ending his bid for California governor is, among other things, a testament to the power of investigative reporting
English

@MrEnlightened9 @thechosenberg This you bro??? Because if that's your mindset, it shouldn't be hard for him to eat what he wants as well.....

English

@burner199020 @causeitsindigo @ClownWorld I’ll take transgenderism seriously when I meet a trans woman named Maude.
English

@causeitsindigo @ClownWorld These freaks have a tendency to pick names that are gay and retarded and come from anime and fairy princess stories and shit like that.
In Canada there's a professional troon in big with Trudeau's government. His name is Fae Johnstone. Fae. Can you imagine taking that seriously?
English

@orphicmusings @yungdiscodrip IDK what some rando on Twitter said, that’s not what *Martin* is doing.
English

@robovelt @yungdiscodrip do you know what the word “titillation” means
English

@orphicmusings @yungdiscodrip Who’s getting “excited”? This is why some people should have their licenses to read revoked. Midwits can’t handle it.
English

@robovelt @yungdiscodrip yeah i think im a better person because i dont get excited at the thought of sexually aroused children. i think thats a pretty low bar to clear actually
English

@orphicmusings @yungdiscodrip Thank God everyone knows what a better person you are than Martin, for a second there was a chance that no one would pay attention to you! Phew! 😅
English

@yungdiscodrip experience a little titillation? at a fucking child? i know what you are
English

@Grand_Leos I mean, it’s not really a “romance,” it’s more of a social comedy… 🤔
English

@lucask741 @Yeenie_Mcbeenie Yup — Sadler notes at one point that the Jurassic-era plants that were decorating the pool would be poisonous if ingested.
English

@Yeenie_Mcbeenie wasn’t it also implied that the plants were just there cus they looked nice, aligning with the “spared no expense” element of it all, Hammond was basically an over excited child with money and science at his disposal
English

People always forget this part, but there’s an implicit implication Jurassic Park would have failed even if it opened.
Notice how the only dinosaur they see on the car tour (before things go wrong) was a triceratops dying because it couldn’t digest modern plants?
pokey pup@Whatapityonyou
Yes because the main message behind Jurassic Park was “please do this, it’ll be so epic!”
