@BestBuy - I spend $800 on a new TV and then you want to turn around and charge me $29 to recycle the old one? Two things: 1. Congratulations. The old TV is gonna end up in the landfill. 2. I will think twice about purchasing a TV from Best Buy again.

@BestBuySupport If you really understood the frustration, you would make it free for somebody who spent a lot of money at your store. Generally, the smallest TV you sell is 50 inches. How convenient that you charge this fee for over 48 inches. It’s a dumb policy.

We understand the frustration when there is a recycling fee for your device. While most products we offer free recycling for, there are certain products that may require an additional cost for Best Buy to recycle them. @JohnCornyn @SpaceCenterHou Whatever happened to that 11 million dollars you promised Hemphill, TX so they could honor the crew of space shuttle Columbia? That is one of the poorest places in East Texas, and they could’ve really used that money.

Come and Take It? Yes, we will. But for shenanigans by Obama administration, it would already be there. Glad that the Space Shuttle Discovery is finally coming home to Houston.   @SpaceCenterHou is the right place for this shuttle & I am proud to have led the charge to help bring the Discovery to its rightful home in Space City.

Hearing that Mexico will fall short of their obligation to deliver the 202k acre-feet of water they promised would be delivered to South Texas. I am already in touch with @POTUS, @USDA, & @SecRollins on ensuring Mexico is held accountable for this failure.   I support any recourse possible to get Mexico to comply & will continue to urge @USTradeRep Ambassador Greer to raise this issue during the USMCA Joint Review.

Glad to vote to confirm my @SenateGOP colleague, @SenMullin, to be @POTUS@DHSgov Secretary. DHS is a vital agency that defends our borders, responds to natural disasters, and protects our homeland. I look forward to working with @realDonaldTrump to continue the success of the admin’s border policies & defending our homeland with Markwayne at the helm.

@BarackObama I lost my doctor. Rates skyrocketed. The insurance company treats me…not my doctor. What a moment to be proud of!

The day the Affordable Care Act passed was one of my proudest moments as president, because it meant that millions of Americans would have access to health care, some for the first time. The ACA also prevented insurance companies from denying people with pre-existing conditions coverage, allowed young people under the age of 26 to remain on their parents’ plan, expanded Medicaid, and so much more. But the ACA was always meant to be a first step. We still have to do more to expand access and make health care more affordable for everyone.

This might be one of the wildest weather splits we’ll see all year. At the same time parts of Ohio climb into the 70s and even mid-80s, Cleveland will still be sitting in the upper 30s due to cold air blowing in off Lake Erie. That sharp contrast is coming from a cold front combined with wind off the lake, creating a narrow band of much colder air across Northeast Ohio while the rest of the state warms up. Same state. Completely different day.

@GregAbbott_TX Tax dollars shouldn’t be collected on property taxes. I am tired of renting from the state of Texas. It’s my house, not yours. Remind me again how many years ago you promised to do something about sky high property taxes?

Starting April 1, Texans will no longer be allowed to use food stamps to buy sweetened beverages and candy. Tax dollars shouldn't be used to fund unhealthy diets. texastribune.org/2026/03/18/tex…

The recent reports of sexual abuse of multiple women by Cesar Chavez, including minors, is horrifying.   I am introducing a bill to stop Cesar Chavez’s house & office - where some of this abhorrent abuse reportedly took place - from receiving taxpayer funding and being honored by the federal government.   Not one more dime of taxpayer money should go towards a monument glorifying a monster like Chavez.

The long TSA lines at the airports across America are because Democrats are refusing to fund the Department of Homeland Security where TSA agents get paid. Many TSA agents can’t work for free now with the hope of being paid when the issue is resolved. They need to work now so they are finding other jobs.

@heathcummingssr The one I went to had the news on the main screen with the sound from the news on the main speakers. There were games on the smaller screens. I don’t get it.

Went to a sports bar today to watch the tournament. We'd been there before, good food, good beer. Walked in and they had zero tournament games on. "Working on it." After one beer they still had zero games on. Mostly baseball and football re-runs on the TVs...a few TVs with a tournament app on, but "free trial expired.". Obviously, we left. I still don't actually understand any of it. How do you own a "sports bar" and not plan on having all the games on all day on one of the most important sports days of the year?

The state of Texas will not observe the Cesar Chavez Day holiday. I am directing all Texas state agency heads to comply. In the upcoming legislative session, I will work with Texas lawmakers to remove Cesar Chavez Day from state law altogether. Reports of the horrific and widely acknowledged sexual assault allegations against Cesar Chavez rightfully dismantle the myth of this progressive hero and undermine the narrative that elevated Chavez as a figure worthy of official state celebration.

Sounds like the first V3 booster, 10-engine static fire was aborted prematurely due to a ground side issue with the new Pad 2 (which isn’t unusual for a first activation), B19 is heading back to install all 33 Raptor V3’s for a full static fire in the future.
SpaceX@SpaceX

Initial Super Heavy V3 and Starbase Pad 2 activation campaign complete, wrapping up several days of testing that loaded cryogenic fuel and oxidizer on a V3 vehicle for the first time. While the 10-engine static fire ended early due to a ground-side issue, we saw successful startup on all installed Raptor 3 engines. Next up: preparing the booster for a 33-engine static fire
