Nice recognition of bipartisan work for the public good. Would have been great if GOP colleagues listened to the Sheriffs and supported building a new state mental health hospital for the severely mentally ill to get them out of the jails and off the streets. Even left a spot open on the bill for a GOP sponsor as told the advocates would need bipartisan support to get the bill through.
