@niccruzpatane How come when I use my FSD i pay $100/mo for, the screen flashes blue and i always have to slightly turn the wheel? You have to touch the wheel and occasionally turn it bro, or it turns off and locks you out

Even if a Tesla had 500 miles of range, it wouldn’t change the trip much from LA to Yosemite, which is ~310 miles one way. There’s no way someone isn’t stopping at least once during the 5.5 hour journey. The Tesla with the longest range is the Model S AWD with 410 miles. During that one stop you are already taking during the 5.5 hour trip, the car charges, so you aren’t losing as much time as you think, if any. Plus, Yosemite offers many destination charging options, so your car can top off while you’re there, eliminating even more charging time. The biggest thing, @WilliamShatner, is that Tesla vehicles drive themselves. I’ve gone from Toronto to Austin, TX, without ever needing to touch the steering wheel. Over 3,500 miles total. Tesla Self-Driving handles charging and navigation, so you can just relax. The pros of road tripping in a Tesla far outweigh the cons. When you reach Yosemite, you’ll feel way more refreshed since you didn’t have to drive the whole way.

And for the #teslarites who don’t understand 500 miles. Time is money. How long does it take to pump a tank of gas? 4-5 mins versus 30. Early last week I went up to the Yosemite area (about 300 miles.) I got up there, did my thing and got gas (5 mins) and drove back. With a Tesla. It would be drive up (maybe on one charge) charge up 20-30 mins, do my thing. Drive back, stop along the way to recharge (again probably another 20 mins…) That’s too long. 500 would be one recharge so it’s 10 mins gas versus 29-30 mins which I would consider.🤷🏼

@SomethingClassc Not around me in California. We had more kids with N64, and even played our old Genesis, and NES back then. It was a rarity for middle and high schoolers i knew to have Playstations, unless their dads gamed.

Virginia Woolf’s diary entries on James Joyce’s Ulysses: “An illiterate, underbred book it seems to me; the book of a self taught working man, and we all know how distressing they are, how egotistic, insistent, raw, striking, and ultimately nauseating. … I finished ‘Ulysses’ and think it is a misfire. Genius it has, I think; but of the inferior water. The book is diffuse. It is brackish. It is pretentious. It is underbred, not only in the obvious sense, but in the literary sense. A first-rate writer, I mean, respects writing too much to be tricky; startling; doing stunts.”

MMO players, quick question. If there was a game that had: • World of Warcraft style MMO world • New World style gathering and large siege battles • Path of Exile style monetization (free base game + cosmetic shop) Would you try it? Because that game already exists.. It’s Guild Wars 2! Free to play. No subscription. And it’s on Steam. It also does something most MMOs don't. It respects your time. You can quit for 5 years, come back, and your gear is still usable. You literally can pick up where you left off. AND ITS FREE TO PLAY 🤯 No expansion gear treadmill. The world itself is huge, dare i say MASSIVE too. Mountains, caves, hidden jumping puzzles, deep/vast explorable underwater zones and cities. Instead of quest hubs, the maps run events where dozens of players suddenly end up defending towns or fighting massive bosses together. Pvp has matchmaking as well as "world vs world", which is basically a huge battlefield warfare with siege weapons and armies fighting over castles. Also.. the mount system might be the best in any MMO. Each mount has unique movement mechanics, not just speed boosts. And the community is known for being one of the friendliest in the genre. I could go on and on. I keep getting asked in stream about this game and I always have to stop and share my passion and love for everything this game has to offer. If you like MMORPGs and somehow missed this one, I highly recommend checking it out. GW2 players, help spread the word! #GuildWars2 @GuildWars2 @ArenaNet

A great example of this is Black Myth: Wukong Despite having an MC score around 80, it went on to become one of the most successful games of the year loved by players and even competing in GOTY discussions Just shows that player reception matters just as much as review scores.

@paleochristcon It did, but stiff like Ocarina of Time and Goldeneye were just as popular. Not everyone had playstations back then. I remember playing the demo disc for ff7 back in the day and hating the controls. 3d in a d-pad still sucks

I am a Democrat. I served in the Clinton administration. I did not vote for Donald Trump and am highly unlikely to support him or his acolytes in the future. I also have serious disagreements with many of the Trump administration’s domestic and foreign policies. But it is profoundly disturbing that a growing segment of the far left appears to be almost rooting for Hamas, Hezbollah, the Iranian regime, and other forces fundamentally opposed to the United States and our allies. This seems to reflects a corrosive strain of anti-Americanism, dressed up in postcolonial theory, that risks blinding us to the moral realities of our world and the nature of our adversaries.

Since there were a lot of mentions that Crimson Desert looked like what Dragon’s Dogma 2 should’ve been. Crimson Desert currently has a lower Metacritic score (77) than Dragon’s Dogma 2 (86).

@Grummz Reviewer is a trans douche freelance reviewer who leans woke, has admitted to scoring less if not following It’s (Hafer) political views. One of the ideologues leading crusaders against Hogwarts legacy. Grok told me this. This is why AI will probably replace people for reviews…

Ran into my elderly neighbor. Hadn't seen him in a while. He's a generally a spry/fit/active guy in his 70s, but when I saw him he looked like shit and had an oxygen tube in his nose. I asked him what happened. He was out riding his bike (because he's a fit active guy) and crashed into a tree. Paramedics came and insisted on taking him to the ER "just to be safe". He was bruised up but felt like he could go home. But the the ER wanted him to spend the night for observation "just to be safe". So he took their advice and then... he caught some gnarly pneumonia and spent 8 weeks (!!) in the hospital. He just got out and he's still on oxygen. And he's probably not going to be riding his bike anytime soon. If there's a moral here: if you feel like you can walk out of the hospital, then please: walk out of the hospital. Hospitals are chock full of the WORST pathogens and it's best to spend as little time there as possible.

@fortayee Except it plays completely different. Nice gaslighting kid. The feel is like an MMO with autobattle. The only strategy is setting up gambits. Thats it. Gameplay does not feel like final fantasy 1-10. I like 12, but it is not the same. You are just an idiot.
