If you're wondering why the Left is going after Erika Kirk, it's because she's trying to keep Charlie's legacy alive. Charlie's work was supposed to die with him. But Erika is refusing to let that happen. That's why she's being targeted. And that's why we must protect her.

@martin_chr72653 @misfitpatriot_ Every word of that is bullshit nonsense. He never did anything of the kind. Trump opposes Bush/Obama style nation-building forever wars. If you think that's what Trump's doing now, then you're the retarded moron (but I repeat myself).

The U.S. and Israel are achieving in just a matter of weeks what it took Allies a couple years to do with their strategic bombing campaign against the Nazis in WW2. I'm also confident that the customers of the NY Times, Washington Post, CNN, etc. will not learn of this and other military achievements because it doesn't fit their narrative that we're losing our ineffective military operation against the Islamic regime of Iran. The media is actively misleading the American public. The media also bemoans the massive loss of trust in them as an essential institution in our society. They should take a long look in the mirror when they talk about the causes of the loss of this trust.

All three of Iran's largest steel plants were struck simultaneously last night. Mobarakeh. Esfahan. Khuzestan. 70% of Iran's steel output. Gone in one night. Iran built its steel industry specifically to survive sanctions. Israel hit the sanction hedge. - @MarioNawfal

PRESIDENT TRUMP: NATO wasn’t there for us. We send billions of dollars to them every year to protect them. We would have always been there for them. But based on their actions, I guess we don’t have to be, do we? Why would we be there for them if they’re not there for us?

Biden’s FCC did go after Fox. Biden’s FCC went after Sinclair broadcasting too. In fact, the Biden FCC failed to renew hundreds of routine licenses for that broadcaster — something that the agency had never done before. The Biden FCC also determined and wrote that broadcasters have a “obligation … to take all reasonable measures to eliminate any false, misleading, or deceptive matter.” At the same time, Democrats in Congress pressured cable companies to drop Fox News, OAN, and Newsmax for their newsroom decisions. And that pressure worked in many cases. Those were cable channels, too, that have no broadcast public interest obligations. Earlier, Democrats in Congress wrote the FCC and called on it to investigate the news activities of a conservative broadcaster, including under the FCC’s news distortion policy. Democrats also called on the FCC to block the sale of a radio station in Florida on the grounds that they thought the buyer was conservative, stating “To win in 2022, this must stop!” The sale didn’t go through. The list goes on and on and I have no doubt that it will go on and on again at some point in the future. Remind me - which one of these Democrat actions did you consider weaponization and push back on ?

𝐑𝐄𝐏𝐔𝐁𝐋𝐈𝐂𝐀𝐍𝐒 𝐐𝐔𝐈𝐄𝐓𝐋𝐘 𝐒𝐄𝐂𝐔𝐑𝐄𝐃 $𝟐𝟎 𝐁𝐈𝐋𝐋𝐈𝐎𝐍 𝐅𝐎𝐑 𝐈𝐂𝐄 𝐎𝐏𝐄𝐑𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍𝐒 While the media was focused on the shutdown theater, Republicans embedded ICE funding directly into the tax bill they passed last summer. Not a continuing resolution. Not a political football. A permanent funding mechanism. You don’t negotiate over something that’s already locked in. You move on. Democrats know this. They know ICE is funded. What they really want is to tie ICE’s hands through the DHS bill — to restrict how agents can operate, to hamstring them with paperwork and permission slips. Republicans played chess while the media played checkers. They got what they actually needed — sustainable funding for border enforcement — and they 𝐝𝐢𝐝 𝐢𝐭 𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐞𝐭𝐥𝐲. Meanwhile, Democrats are still arguing about a bill that’s already been superseded by legislation most people haven’t even noticed. This is how you actually govern. The Senate GOP has exactly two options if it wants to avoid drifting into irrelevance and a stunning loss in November: (1) Keep the filibuster and 60-vote cloture rule fully intact, but stand ready to overcome Senate Democrats’ unprecedented pattern of obstruction by aggressively enforcing the “talking filibuster”—a move that would require senators to work longer, harder hours and take fewer recesses, but lead to more thoughtful, careful deliberation in the legislative process, OR (2) Nuke the filibuster. I strongly prefer the first option. But we must choose either one or the other—because the status quo isn’t working and the resulting inertia isn’t just making it impossible to pursue a coherent agenda; it’s hurting the American people. What’s your preference?

Trump said he was going to find TSA through an executive order. That would show the Republican senators were weak. They couldn’t let Trump get the win so they themselves had to fund TSA. Thankfully the House is not going to sign the bill, TSA still gets funded by Trump, and the senate is going to have to start fighting for America, starting with the Save America Act. Democrats only win through cheating. You know it. They know it. We all know it. Unfortunately the US government is corrupt and only works towards self preservation. Democrats run the government. Republicans are either RINOs or blackmailed. We must stop Agenda 2030 and the destruction of the West.

@SenRickScott I agree that the additional ICE and CPB funding should be passed asap. Do it through reconciliation. I also agree that the SAVE America Act should be passed immediately. Do it through the Talking Filibuster, or eliminate the filibuster altogether. None of this is rocket science.

@SenRickScott WTF are you talking about? ICE and CPB are NOT closed, and do NOT need to be "reopened." They are both funded through 2029 through the OBBB. You are a sitting US Senator and a prime candidate to replace Thune. You know all this. Why are you lying to the American people about it?

This morning, the Senate passed a bill to fund many functions of the Department of Homeland Security, but it did not fund ICE and only partially funded CBP. I opposed this bill. The Democrats have made clear to the American people that they will always put illegal aliens first. This Democrat DHS shutdown was never about reforms to ICE, which the Democrats rejected over and over again, it was about amnesty for illegals and completely halting all deportations. The Democrats want to create an America with open borders, no justice against illegal aliens who kill and attack Americans, and total amnesty for the millions of illegals that they let flood into our country under the Biden administration. This is not hyperbole. It’s the truth, and Democrats have not denied it. Senator Peter Welch said on CSPAN that this entire shutdown was to start a conversation about amnesty. Then, Senator Chris Murphy said on MSNBC that the ‘undocumented’ are the people whom Democrats care about most. It is unacceptable that Democrat members of the United States Senate, who took an oath to represent American citizens and protect the United States, have so openly turned against the interests of our nation to serve those who break our laws. The time for a reckoning has come, and Republicans must now take radical action to protect the United States against the threats posed by radical Democrats. That means fully funding ICE and CBP and passing the SAVE America Act NOW. Republicans must also make sure this never happens again. Members of Congress never should have been allowed to keep getting paychecks while the people keeping our homeland secure were suffering. Congress needs to take up and pass my No Budget, No Pay Act to make it federal law that Congress won’t get paid if a single federal worker isn’t due to a shutdown. We need to get ICE and CBP reopened fully as soon as possible. It’s time for Republicans to get to work on reconciliation immediately and put an end to Democrats’ embarrassing political theater once and for all. I will not give up until we get it done.

You do realize this is part 1 of two parts, right? The second part is to *increase* ICE funding and extend it from 2029 (current funding) to 2037. I thought this was well known, but apparently not. Even people like @RepChipRoy are acting like Panicans over this. Dems got NOTHING from this, except to show Americans they care more about illegals.

I am done with Senate Republicans. Their failure to fully fund DHS is not just disappointing—it’s a disgrace. They refused to fund ICE units that target sex traffickers. They refused to fund Border Patrol agents. And where is the SAVE America Act? Once again, they have failed the American people. They have made one thing clear: Americans’ safety is not their priority.

@justicenow_alan @SenMikeLee The reason they finally caved is because Trump declared an emergency, and invoked emergency powers in order to pay the TSA agents. You can't do that every time congress goes one day into a funding impasse. Their month long delay is what turned it into a national emergency.

Here’s where we stand. The Good: President Trump is paying TSA agents, and the current bill the Senate just sent over to the House re-opens DHS. ICE and Border Patrol will continue arrests and deportations, being primarily funded through the OBBB. Democrats did not succeed in sabotaging border and immigration enforcement in any substantive way. The Bad: the Senate goes on a two week recess without passing the SAVE America Act, stand-alone voter ID, or funding all of DHS through the normal process. Democrats threw a wrench into our efforts to deliver on issues which enjoy broad support among the American people. The Ugly: Congress, especially the Senate, cannot skate by relying on President Trump to solve all our problems. Republicans have to justify their majorities by fighting for permanent policy victories, not can-kicking with unrealistic reconciliation promises. If we do not stand and fight today, we will not inspire Americans in November.
