China, the world’s largest producer of fentanyl precursors, was the ONLY country to vote NO against a U.S. resolution passed today preventing the sale of precursors and pill presses to drug traffickers. Inaction speaks for itself: China continues to be unwilling to stop its companies from flooding the world with deadly drugs.

Great work by Colombian authorities, supported by U.S. law enforcement agencies and @StateINL in capturing Jorge Luis Laez Cordero (“Cucaracho”), a key leader of the designated foreign terrorist organization Tren de Aragua (TdA). He was one of seven TdA members arrested in a series of operations in Colombia over the course of two days. TdA is known to engage in drug trafficking, sex trafficking, kidnapping, extortion, arms trafficking, money laundering, and even murder—fueling violence and pushing narcotics into the United States. This action underscores the Trump Administration’s commitment to designating, disrupting, and eliminating violent transnational terrorist groups like TdA.
