Grace found me today.
For a while, sales have been very low and I needed about 2 million naira to complete a pending order in china, wednesday was the deadline.
I left home for the shop this morning with nothing but hope because anyone who knew the Chinese people knows that if you overly delay in making payments, they might block your number and won’t refund your initial balance.
I settled in and one of my old elderly customer from Ibadan walked in, he bought goods worth the exact amount I needed and he also bought old designs, I even tried giving him new designs but he refused.
I immediately sent the money to china immediately
As soon as he left, I broke into a dance, I bought a crate for my line neighbors too, I don’t know how to say this but I’ve not felt happy like this in a long while.

@Teejumolaa As una hear prenup, una legs don dey shake, una don dey dance ajasco!!😂😂😂tonsense & ingrijents😆😆
English

To add, as a woman, you can also ask for a prenup that protects you too. If he cheats, becomes abusive, or you have to pause your career for the marriage, childbirth, or raising kids, there should be terms that benefit you as well.
These well-to-do men ask for prenups to protect themselves, especially when they know what’s at stake. So instead of getting offended or think he doesn’t love or thinks you’re after his money, protect yourself too. If he feels the need to secure his future, you should be able to secure yours as well..
DUNMEENEENU🌹❤️@Beebah_Naturals
Any man that brings you a prenup before marriage will show you shege in that marriage, he will act nonchalantly because he knows you will go with nothing if you dare file for a divorce, I pity some of you. Prenup is the end of the beginning. End.

@OlubadanII @DavidHundeyin Not doubting or disputing this but you in the midst of 200million people!!😱😱😱
English

@DavidHundeyin Oga David, my father loves me oh.
And my sister loves me too.
There’s basically nothing I was as a child that deserves the kind of care or love I experienced that’d have counted for your claim here.
English

They never do.
I've said for years that almost nobody in Nigeria has experienced actual love before, whether male or female. Not from their romantic partners, not from their family, not even from their parents. It's all an unhealthy soup of unprocessed emotions, theatre performance and the worst kind of unbridled capitalism.
Nigerian relationships are characterised by a lot of things. Things like Desire. Lust. Dependency. Codependency. Convenience. Need. Force.
Love is unfortunately not one of them.

The girl no really likes you from the beginning

@HeritechSol +those intending to migrate. From when you're single, if you have it mind that one day you'll relocate abroad, do it oh!

@HAPPYHEART1959 @DedayoRoots How about those without refrigerators?
Can fermentation be possible|effective in a cold environment?
English

@DedayoRoots Zobo, ginger, star anise, cloves and cinnamon. I boil and allow to cool. Sieved, bottled and refrigerated. That's how I make mine
English

Simple. Ancient. Powerful.
So, here is how I make fermented zobo👇
Brew your zobo as normal (hibiscus, ginger, cloves, a little citrus peel). Let it cool completely.
Add a small piece of fresh pineapple or ginger as your natural starter. Cover loosely with cloth. Leave at room temperature 24–48 hours.
You'll see light bubbling. That's fermentation. That's Lactobacillus colonising your drink. And when you taste it. (Slightly tart, slightly fizzy.)
That's your gut medicine ready.
No lab. No supplement store. Just time and trust.

TrustED Sol🕊️Ⓜ️@0Xlove_Solana
@DedayoRoots Fermented zobo. How?
English

@General_Oluchi @Evepillowtalk04 The way some Nigerians gleefully lick the dust on the shoes of anglo-Americans is irritating!!! Always looking for validation from people wey no send their papa!!
English

I have never heard anyone call Genevieve Nnaji “African Angelina Jolie,” it’s all from you. If that’s how you feel about them, that’s your business but she has never identified herself as such. Americans should not be naming our award shows or making it an extension of theirs. If it’s not an issue to you then you should be calling the Met Gala the American AMVCA!
There’s BET awards and no one has ever called it “African Oscar awards” because black Americans won’t allow anyone to erase their hardwork or identity. Find yourself as an African so that you can understand why this is highly inappropriate.
English

2026 AMVCA has humbled 2026 Met Gala. I saw some American fashion influencers and creators calling it “African Met Gala.” Will you shatap??!! This is not African Met Gala! This is African Magic Viewer’s Choice Awards! That’s how you people claim everything.
They were drooling over outfits from the event and asking why their own celebrities couldn’t dress like that. I can’t imagine how difficult it was for them to admit that Nigerian designers are creative. Hopefully, this will open more doors for them to get the global recognition they deserve.
English

@obiayoebuka @realKwameOffei Signed, sealed, delivered!! Remain blessed!
English

@indabawa001 @Tocen1010 @Nueltek @heismric Oho!! Iyayi na mutanen nan is to much!! Some thing can be done with just spoken words. The only difference is that northerners aren't loud & it doesn't come with much drama.
English

I’m an exceptional global UK talent.
That’s equivalent to expatriates in NG.
I visited my school for MA enrolment and the enrolment officer said “you’re on a talent visa not student? Wow, we are honoured to have you in our country.”
Nothing about me is average by God’s grace.
adé.@theadeszn
Ugo’s case, something isn’t adding up sha but time will tell. Those wins are too much for an average Nigerian man who’s an immigrant in the UK. Fingers crossed
English

@JustKingss @SSegsomo You're correct. Utazi is very bitter and mostly in the forest, while scent leaves is mostly farmed
English

Cut 5 bitter kola nuts into small pieces.
Cut some garlic into small pieces as well.
Add a few fresh utazi leaves.
Pour in original dry gin or ogogoro.
Put everything into an empty bottle and allow it to soak for 24 hours.
Directions for use:
Take one shot first thing in the morning before eating, and another shot at night before going to bed.
If your prick isn’t getting extremely hard every day after using this, then call me a fool 😂

Don’t judge me 😩
This is one of the thoughtful gifts we add to our kilishi packs, and ours finished on Saturday.
My staff messaged me yesterday to restock for our packaging this week. They’re always quick to notify me when stock is running low so we don’t get stranded.
I went to the market yesterday to buy groceries and met a man selling them. I told him I needed 5,000 pieces, and he didn’t even have up to a quarter of my order.
Right in my presence, he entered one big shop and packed their own to sell to me.
Immediately, something told me that shop must be the actual wholesaler because the place was too big.
I casually asked him if he stays around that spot, and he said yes. I told him I’d be back because I wanted to check something.
I intentionally walked round the market and came back to that same shop… only to find out that for 2 months, I’ve been buying this for almost double the price 😩
I usually buy a pack for ₦6,000.
Guess what I got it for at the main shop?
₦3,000 per pack.
See how much I saved now 😂
The mistake he made was entering that shop in my presence. He should have distracted me somehow and send his sales rep instead.
Well… my gain 😅

Today, I step into my 30s with a heart full of gratitude not only as a husband, but also as a father.
This journey has changed me in ways words can hardly explain, teaching me strength, patience, sacrifice, and a deeper kind of love.
I thank God for His grace that has carried me this far and for every lesson, blessing, and moment that shaped me along the way.
Here’s to a new decade of peace, purpose, growth, speed, legacy, and fatherhood.
Happy 30th Birthday to me!!!

@Dannitello_ @Realamzat @ChuksEricE @zaichiefgt You all claim fluency in the white man's language, when Nigerian English is bottom barrel!!
Avoid grammatical blunders as you speak, ok!!
Typical Nigerian behaviour: wallowing in self denial, too proud to take corrections, heady in ignorance!! Smh!!
English

@phaethakuri @Realamzat @ChuksEricE @zaichiefgt Thanks for your input no one asked for… I understood what he said perfectly, Banger boy 🤡
English

@Realamzat @Dannitello_ @ChuksEricE @zaichiefgt Nigerians & "use to", "used to" na 5&6.
Pls try to replace that "used to" with always, usually, everytime, often, do. Thanks
English

@Dannitello_ @ChuksEricE @zaichiefgt Sometimes we make yam flowers from it is not like that yam they use to sell in the market. beside,I have never seeing it in market self.

@obiayoebuka @realKwameOffei Sir, hope I'm not late? Pls, I'm interested.
English

@realKwameOffei If you are interested in Africa’s pre-colonial, I can send you a book I researched and developed. Titled: Africa Divided The Legacy of the Berlin Conference and the Struggle for Sovereignty. It’s a very eye opening read!

Marriage as a system was designed to benefit men, as it allows even the p+orest men to have a companion — Feminist Chidera Eggerue
British-Nigerian author and feminist Chidera Eggerue has made a controversial comment about marriage on the Honest Bunch Podcast.
During the conversation on marriage, feminism and relationship on the Honest Bunch Podcast, Chidera argued that marriage was created mainly to favor men. “Marriage as a system already was designed to benefit men,” she said. “Marriage allows for even the p+orest of men to still have a companion.”
She also stated that she would leave a partner if he lost his wealth. “And yes, if that man that I’m with, let’s say he loses his money, right? Because that’s the thing women hear a lot; ‘You want a rich man, well what if he loses his money?’ right?
We fantasize about the idea of a woman who likes rich men being with a man who loses his money. Guess what? He loses his money, he loses me. I move on,” she said.
Her comments quickly got a pushback from ManLikePharaoh, who described modern feminism in Nigeria as “a joke.” “Feminism is nons£nse, especially in Nigeria. It’s actually a joke,” he said, leading to a tense back-and-forth between both speakers.
Chidera, however, defended her stance, insisting she was speaking for women who no longer want to downplay their expectations in relationships. “I’m here to represent the women who are not going to p¥ssyfoot around trying to make men feel better,” she said.

@CatiaKyen There's one popular lady in Instagram too. Can't remember her handle but it has Arewa in it.
English

I just saw this video by a Jos content creator lady talking about “Gote”. She mentioned it originated from Northern Nigeria and is eaten by Plateau and Southern Kaduna people. I almost slammed my phone on the wall out of pure annoyance, Plateau and Southern Kaduna in the sentence, yet she still called it Northern Nigeria?!
These TikTok people will keep dragging us back to the “Plateau and Southern Kaduna are NOT North” conversation 🤦🏽♀️

@lollypeezle Allow your beans to sit in water for about 5hrs b4 cooking.
English

God will punish beans for me. I have never liked that food. It doesn’t digest whenever I take it. Took beans last night and it nearly killed me on 3rd mainland bridge today. I was sweating inside AC like a brand new goat. My stomach was ringing. The more I sped, the longer the road. Lagos State needs to check very well, seems I broke that 80km per hour speed limit several times 🥵🥵
I was tightening my ass just to make sure it doesn’t drop because if it does, Hiroshima will be second. What I carried in me has never been witnessed before. At a point, I removed my face cap like it was the problem, the sweats kept pouring like I was walking through the valley of the shadow of death. I would squeeze the gear stick like I had beef with it. With all the speed from Ajah, epa o boro on 3MB. Any small traffic build up, my heart will start beating fast while I cursed those idiots causing traffic. They were fighting themselves, I was fighting for my life.
I held on like Shedrach Meshach and Abneego in the fiery furnace until I got to the eatery in a Filing station at Alapere. I parked and rushed in. “Where is your rest room?” I screamed. The security woman looked at me with disgust but pointed to the door. Honestly, I didn’t need anyone to point to it because it was right in front of me but oju mi ti su. I rushed in opened the male toilet door and dropped it like an album. Baba nla next rated. Fruuuuupaaa fruuuu tum.
In minutes, I was done. The person who opened the door next ran out. Mo fe pa werey. Emi ika. 😬
I tried flushing but there was no water, just tissue to clean up. Ewwww. I managed it. I don’t want to believe water doesn’t run in that almost perfect toilet.
I walked out to the security man and woman and they managed to squeeze out money from me so they can fetch water to flush later. I know this is a scheme. I can bet they locked that water somewhere. All the same, it was until I got to the car back before I realized I didn’t switch off the car. Key was still at the ignition and AC was still blowing.
I might not eat beans again in this life. 🥵

I don’t attend same church with my husband, it was agreed before marriage.
I am catholic and he is Pentecostal, I remember telling him that I have no intention of leaving my church for his if we eventually get married.
He said he don’t care, after all, what’s the big deal? My kids dedication was done in his church because I was too lazy to pursue the process. We always do crossover night in my church and we attend our various churches on sundays when I am not too lazy to attend church.
Some things should be settled before going to the altar
SOLACE@Elevenheavn
Married couples attending separate churches, is that supposed to be normal or a sign of distance in the family?
English

I remember this AY comedy where Seyi law said Yomi Casual advised him not to wear black black for a night show but he refused. On their way to the show that night, they were attacked by armed robbers and the robbers said everybody get down now. He was the last person at the back seat but before he could get down, the robbers had already concluded no one was left in the car. One of the robbers looked into the car and didn't see him because he already rhymed with darkness 😂
