If it were really just a social event, they'd ditch the categories, stop posting lists of times, and just email everyone their own time. But they *want* to punch down at women.

@DocPaperback The comments I saw on the second post were rational though. Feeling pity for a person or believing they're sincere in their beliefs are not reasons to dismantle social norms. Males and females are different and that matters at times. One of those times is sport.

I can't see any evidence of a pile-on, just lots of people rationally disagreeing with you and mostly feeling pity for a boy who at *4* years old was monstrously let down by the adults in his life. None of that gives him a pass into female sports.

Accuracy matters, which is why your terms are completely wrong. Suicide is the tragic ending of a life that could have gone on. Medical assisted dying is a controlled, compassionate choice for someone whose death is already a certainty due to incurable illness. Using extreme loaded words like "murder" doesn't make your point, it just proves a complete lack of empathy for terminal patients.

"it's not a race" but publish a ranking of runners in competitive categories by time. "the categories aren't sex-based" but use "male" and "female".

No one polices the age category either and yet everyone seems able to self-police and provide their correct DOB. What is it about men who pretend they're women that makes you think they're dishonest?

The impact of the policy is asymmetrical, which is why it's unfair. It's nothing to do with "trans", per se, it's just unfair.

Park run is not a sporting event, as I have explained to you. It's not externally governed buy any sporting body, to ensure fairness, because it's not a sport
