Finally pushed another update to yardsear.ch You can now filter search results with a date range, and sort by best match, oldest first, and newest first. Up next is to combine all results from the same episode into a popup and then add multi page results.

@bfayers_ @Auto_Racer_it It's in how the transition time is measured, which seems to be on the ECU. It's being tricked into thinking that the initial stoppage is full closure.

Apparently that was completely intentional and used to evade the rules. I had noted the early stoppage (jamming) motion but put it down to what seemed to be insufficient strength/pressure in the system under heavy loads. @Auto_Racer_it however reports that Mercedes are able to evade the 400 ms transition time by designing a two-phase actuator. - The first phase is quick and within the 400 ms window and triggers the control systems as a complete closure. - The secondary, slower phase is completely void of any time limit. The front wing actuator is an OSC, so rival teams have access to the designs. Ferrari has sought clarification, and the actuator will be thoroughly checked in Japan.

SO MANY banking apps stop working if you have developer options enabled there was no need to do ts fuck Google

They had read the screen wrong in the BYD. They later used the youtube editor to cut out the mistake & replaced the final verdict after comments

So frustrating how misinformed people will spread news like this and just keep the cycle of misinformation going. This is genuinely a huge part of why I started making FSD content - seeing so many people online who were trying to discredit it. I am sure they won’t, but it would be nice for @carwowuk to come out and make an apology.

Carwow just released a new video to its 11 million YouTube subscribers titled: "Why Tesla Full Self Drive is Pointless!" @carwowuk misleads its viewers into thinking Tesla’s Autopilot is FSD, even though FSD hasn’t been approved in the UK yet. Autopilot isn’t meant for city driving, yet they test of bunch of scenarios that Autopilot wasn't built to do in the first place....

As expected, Google is making sideloading harder on Android… but it is NOT going anywhere Here's the new way in simple steps: • Turn ON Developer Mode in settings • Confirm no one is forcing you • Restart your phone and unlock again • Wait 24 hours, then verify with fingerprint / face / PIN • Now you can install apps (7 days or always) More steps, but you still have the choice

Rivian Universal Hands-Free vs Tesla Self-Driving This was my first time testing Rivian's new Universal Hands-Free, and I was honestly surprised by how it performed. I understand this is their first attempt and it will only improve from here, but truthfully, it is worse than any version of FSD or Autopilot I have ever used. @Timoldland Nice, but the rear end is ugly, just like the iX3. Apparently you can spec an m-sport steering wheel to avoid the baffling decision to have a spoke at 12 o'clock too.

Proper press pics. I know many don't, but I love the looks. Can't wait to see the Touring and I will almost certainly have one. Launch spec has a 559 mile WLTP range. That is Fucking Impressive. Will apparently start at sub-£50k.

@KingGuy04 @NevrEnoughX @wholemars Better than Tesla even in non-FSD markets. But then Tesla practically abandoned the AP stack years ago in the pursuit of FSD.

their approach is a bit different from Tesla’s, they try to squeeze everything they can from one camera and learn things, then only scaled the hardware once they’ve reached the limits. So once they reach the limit, and the camera is the main bottleneck, then they will add more cameras. They’re nowhere near Tesla, but it’s actually pretty insane what they’ve been able to accomplish with one camera. Better than what auto makers have.
