A good day. Nice to see so much work being done putting in roads behind York Station aswell as infront of it. Also, the boys seemed pretty busy to the right of Darlington Station as we approached it from the South. I like to see things happening pushing the railways forward.

@CBTransport Also, free bus travel at 60 in Scotland and Wales seems a little unfair on England.

@CBTransport Can I throw into the mix " 60+ London Oyster photocard .If you're 60 or over and live in a London borough, you can get free travel on our transport services with an Oyster photocard. " meanwhile in York, I get free bus travel in 6 years time when I reach my pension age of 67.

Railcards are great. We have called for a railcard for the north of England, as already exists in the south east. What we DON'T want to see is a 16.7% increase in the cost of railcards, as the Government recently announced. bettertransport.org.uk/blog/want-to-l…

To help cure overcrowding at Euston, Network Rail and train operators are to allow passengers access to platforms to board earlier than has recently been the case. I do wonder why this was not already happening.
