It was a pleasure to meet with advocates from the Ukraine Action Summit last week to discuss the ongoing need for strong U.S. support for Ukraine. As Ukraine continues to stand strong against Putin’s unprovoked invasion, the United States cannot turn its back on our allies and partners.

A powerful installation organized by @razomforukraine featuring 20,000 stuffed bears to represent the over 20,000 Ukrainian children abducted by Russian war criminal Putin. I continue to lead the fight for the funds to track these kidnapped children and reunite every single one with their families. Trump has been helping the kidnappers, not the kidnapped. As he lifts sanctions on companies trafficking Ukrainian children, he retaliates against Yale's Conflict Observatory, which has been working to find the children and exposed what Trump’s policies mean.

We must use all diplomatic and economic strategies we have to protect the lives and freedom of Ukrainians.

I met with constituents in D.C. this week for the American Coalition for Ukraine's summit, and their message was clear: America cannot walk away from this. While Trump eases sanctions on Russia, Ukraine is still fighting for its survival. This is not a moment for Washington to look away. Congress must stand with Ukraine, demand a just and lasting peace, and ensure that Putin is held fully accountable.

Met with the American Coalition for Ukraine and Austinite John Stennet on the urgent need for more U.S. support for Ukraine in its fight for sovereignty. While the Trump regime rewards Putin with more sanctions relief, I will never stop fighting for a free Ukraine and a just, lasting peace. We cannot further enable Putin’s well-oiled war machine.

Our team visited the Bring Kids Back installation on the National Mall. Russia has abducted over 20k Ukrainian children. Each teddy bear represents a child & serves as a reminder of these horrific war crimes. Russia must be held accountable & these children must be returned home safely.

Some meetings remind you what’s at stake. I am grateful for the conversation with the American Coalition for Ukraine on standing with Ukraine, strengthening partnerships, and demanding the return of abducted Ukrainian children.
