@GoldySh65920213 How I connect you regarding Trench work

Serious concerns have been raised regarding trench reinstatement work at Chandan Bagh and Neelkanth Nagar, Mulund West. The work appears to be carried out by simply laying cold mix over the existing khadi and compacting it with a road roller, without proper cleaning of the trench and without the required DBM (Dense Bituminous Macadam) layer.
If these observations are correct, the work may not comply with the prescribed reinstatement standards and could compromise the quality and durability of the road. It is even more concerning that this work is reportedly being carried out barely 50 metres from the T Ward office, creating the impression that the contractor has little fear of inspection or enforcement.
I request the @mybmc T Ward Maintenance Department to immediately inspect this work, verify whether all specifications and contract conditions have been followed, and, if any violations are found, take strict action against the responsible contractor and officials. The public now awaits transparent and timely action. #Mulund #Mumbai #RoadSafety #Accountability #BMC @Dev_Fadnavis @mieknathshinde @VarshaEGaikwad @SDPatil_16 @rautsanjay61 @mayur_mumbai @ShelarAshish @TawdeRitu @mihirkotecha @RajThackeray @OfficeofUT @uddhavthackeray @ShivSenaUBT_ @uddhav @mulund_info @MulundMumbai @ZeeNews @PTI_News @Tv7News80934 @mumcrimepnews @mumbaicrime1 @ABPNews @BBCHindi @Marathinew31814 @TV9Marathi @News18_marathi @Marathi_Rash @PatrakarNManiar @Manojsu38345382 @RajeshIngleINC @SunilGangwani_ @INCRakeshMulund @ManojSansare143 @SandeepVare1 @Tward @mybmcWardT @VinodK24183 @KishoriPednekar @PTI_News @ABPNews @ZeeNews @TV9Marathi @News18_marathi @bbcnewsmarathi

The BMC inquiry committee into the Chembur tree crash incident, has recommended penalties totalling Rs 7 lakh against the contractor and consultant associated with storm-water drain works near the Peepal tree that uprooted and fell on a school bus in Chembur on June 30, killing an 11-year-old Vihaan Srivastav, while absolving the civic body’s roads and gardens departments of prima facie negligence.

A school going student Vihaan Srivastava (11) was killed and four others were injured after a 70 year old roadside peepal tree was uprooted and crashed onto a school van carrying the children from Universal High School in Chembur west on Tuesday afternoon. Vihaan was the only child off his parents & enjoyed playing a game of cricket like many kids of his age. timesofindia.indiatimes.com/city/mumbai/11…

Newly constructed MCGMconcrete road already showing signs of settlement. Why are such small concrete panels being used, and why has the pavement settled so soon? This raises serious concerns about construction quality. @AshwiniBhide

Works on the very long pending Vidyavihar flyover are now targeted for completion on August 31,2026 said @mybmc
Currently around 80% of the work has been completed.
Vidyavihar flyover will connect Lal Bahadur Shastri (LBS) Road with Ramchandra Chemburkar Marg and will comprise a two-lane carriageway.
The project also includes direct pedestrian access from the flyover to the foot overbridges at Vidyavihar railway station. A new pedestrian connection is also being provided within the railway premises through a staircase linking the station to the adjoining service road.

I visited bad road pothole situation in our Bandra/Khar/Scruz area with BMC officials & ExBJP corporator @mhatreviru
Per BMC data (25 Jul 2024)
475 potholes across 6 BMC wards with almost 70% potholes filled !
70% of the potholes in area under Contractors NCC, DHP Infratech, VNC Infra !
Based on ground reality many existing potholes, - i will not accept this data !
Mumbai Traffic Police data has revealed each pothole being filled 8 times in 1 month of Mumbai rains
25 years & Rs 3000 crores later , BMC has been unable to fix tihs pothole mess
&
BMC Accountability is still Missing
I demand @mybmc
1. BMC must create special pothole website for citizens to monitor & track this pothole filling exercise
2. BMC must tag google pin with pictures of pothole filled with date & time wardwise ! So citizens can monitor !
3. Random 3rd party auditing of 10% potholes daily filled should be carried out & Audit observations shd be declared within 48 hours on BMC website for each Ward
4. BMC must create for each Pothole Review committee with citizens, ALM's, MLA, BMC, Police, BMC Contractor to meet on monthly basis to review this action taken report !

Location: Hindustan Chowk, Mulund Colony, Hanuman Pada Road, Mulund West, Mumbai – 400082
This is the reality of Mumbai's so-called 'progress'!
Just a few days ago, a water pipeline was laid here by the BMC. A trench was dug right in the middle of the road, and after laying the pipe, it was loosely and poorly refilled — just for show.
On 20/05/2025, after just one rainfall, the road collapsed again. And mind you — the monsoon hasn’t even properly started yet!
This isn’t just a pothole — it’s a deep pit of corruption!
The poor quality of work is clearly visible. Contractors, officials, and the concerned department have wasted public funds.
Who is responsible for this misuse of taxpayers' money?
More importantly: What if someone falls into this trench and gets seriously injured? Who will be held accountable?
This is a pipeline area with a deep, dangerous trench — a clear threat to pedestrians and vehicles alike.
Our Demands:
Immediate action against the responsible BMC department
Investigation and blacklisting of the contractor for substandard work
Full inspection and durable reconstruction of the road
Stop testing the patience of Mumbaikars. We demand answers — not excuses!
