Sit-in Protest at Taphou Kuki Village Demands Release of 25 Allegedly Abducted by SDSA Senapati, 13 May 2026: — A sit-in protest is underway at Taphou Kuki Village demanding the immediate release of 25 villagers allegedly abducted by the Senapati District Students Association (SDSA) in broad daylight. The victims, described as daily wage earners, had gone to the Senapati area for work. After hearing about the 13 May killing of three Kuki pastors, they hurried home but were allegedly abducted on their way back. The abductions reportedly occurred at two locations: the petrol pump at Rikhumai Taphou and the gate below Mount Everest College, Phyamai Taphou. Protesters claim the villagers were taken to Karong and that their whereabouts remain unknown. They allege the incident happened “right under the nose of the state and central security forces.” No official statement on the status of the 25 villagers has been released yet. Killing pastors cannot be called a Christian!! We strongly condemn ZUF-Kamson, an NSCN-IM proxy, for the brutal killing of Kuki church leaders on 13 May 2026. Targeting unarmed ministers of peace is an act of terror, not faith, and stands against every teaching of Christ. Such violence against those who preach reconciliation has no place in any civilized society. We demand justice for the slain pastors and immediate action against the perpetrators. #𝐂𝐇𝐈𝐊𝐈𝐌_𝐓𝐄_𝐀𝐖𝐆𝐈𝐍 @chinkukimizogin #JusticeForPastors #StopTheViolence #ZUF #NSCNIM #Manipur #PrayForManipur #PeaceInManipur

URGENT STATE INTERVENTION NEEDED NOW! #ManipurViolence It is deeply alarming that the abducted villagers are now reportedly feared dead following the killing of the three Kuki pastors. The continued silence and delay from the concerned authorities is unacceptable. We urgently appeal for immediate state intervention, a transparent investigation, and swift action to ensure justice and protect innocent lives. @himantabiswa @PemaKhanduBJP @SangmaConrad @Lal_Duhoma @Neiphiu_Rio @PSTamangGolay @DrManikSaha2 @PMOIndia @AmitShah @HMOIndia @MDoNER_India @Spearcorps @official_dgar

ZUF Kamson, an NSCN-IM proxy, after successfully carrying out the ambush. Immediate abrogation of the ceasefire agreement with the NSCN-IM, which it described as "secessionist". 2. Immediate release and safe recovery of 14 abducted Kuki-Zo men. 3. Combing operations in Ukhrul and Kamjong districts to dismantle camps and stop alleged illegal cross-border movement. 4. Crackdown on illegal timber and drug trade centres in Namlee, Wanglee, and Choro. 5. NIA investigation into the killing of the three pastors and prosecution of perpetrators. 6. Legal action against individuals and groups, including Tangkhul women, allegedly obstructing security forces. 7.
