In intimating its opinion and resolute decision, the Apex Body expresses saying: "The State Government and the #Meitei Leadership may implement NRC at any time of their convenience and in any manner as deemed fit [but] within their own territorial bounds clearly marked by the #BufferZones. The #Manipur State issue in no way concerns the #Kuki_Zo people who have been forced out of #Maniput State and were compelled to petition their grievances to the Government of India for a Constitutional protection in the creation of a Union Territory with Legislature for the #Kuki_Zo prople." The Kuki Inpi express its willingness to not go against the efforts of Central Government in implementing NRC within the #Meitei inhabited region under the strict supervision of the Supreme Court, but caution to consult the Kuki Inpi in case of any intent to implement NRC within the territorial jurisdiction of the #Kuki_Zo people.
