Who will save the civilians in eastern DRC when it seems that countries and international organizations are doing nothing to stop Tshisekedi, Ndayishimiye, the FDLR, and Wazalendo from continuing to kill Congolese civilians? The people of eastern DRC continue to suffer from violence, displacement, insecurity, and repeated attacks, while the international community often limits itself to statements instead of taking effective action to protect civilians and restore peace.

HRF is alarmed by DRC ruler Félix Tshisekedi’s remarks indicating his interest in extending his rule beyond the current constitutional term limit and his suggestion that the country’s 2028 elections could be delayed due to the conflict in eastern DRC. If the U.S. considers the protection of Americans near the Rwanda–DRC border a legitimate concern, why should Rwanda not be expected to protect its own population living along the same border? The @StateDept itself warns that armed groups — some openly hostile to Rwanda — operate in eastern #DRC, and that “ongoing violence (…) has the risk of spilling over into Rwanda.” No government — especially one shaped by a history as painful as genocide — can reasonably ignore hostile armed groups operating directly across its borders. If the U.S. recognizes the need to protect its citizens against armed groups operating in the DRC and “oppos(ing) the Rwandan government,” then it is only consistent to acknowledge Rwanda’s duty to do the same. And if Rwanda is considered one of the safest countries in the world, it is also because it takes warning signs seriously, among other measures aimed at protecting its people and preserving stability. La petite minorité extrémiste du M23, au service du Rwanda, ne représente que des agents rwandais et ne sera jamais acceptée comme Congolaise. Le Congo ne se laissera plus infiltrer.

"Sibomana", un Rwandophone, est célébré par le ministre congolais des Sports pour son titre de champion . À ce moment-là, il est considéré comme pleinement 100% congolais.
