@DMike_Day The cultural challenges include risk aversion leadership and arrogance in “all sectors” of security for Canada. Consequently in the absence of courage and intellect, all sectors focusing on linear concerns ie “organizational culture” and tone deaf to substantive threats.

At a time where the CAF is facing a once in a lifetime (hopefully) cultural challenge & Canada finds itself implicated in the renewal of a Great Power struggle I do find it worrisome the GOC makes no mention of the military let alone its people Quite remarkable albeit consistent

@BoatswainTam @joshchin I agree. People need to look in the mirror in the west and see how they have contributed to her demise. NBA, Hollywood, buy made in China and take ownership on what really caused here demise. Look in the mirror folks.

@Neil_B_Night I think it’s a tad too late. Let them commit human right abuses?, conduct cyber attacks on us, send fentanyl our way, corrupt our officials.

@CalvinChrustie I don't think we want(ed) China as a enemy. Fix this problem instead of magnifying it further. 😒

@CalvinChrustie Hmmm orders from the Vancouver CCP Consulate headquarters for the United Front in BC? Time for Ottawa to take this seriously and start cleaning house.

@Aaron_eous @BenWoodfinden See my post in this chat. It’s very obvious and well known in the intel circles. Same period Chrétien shut down Project Sidewinder, a intel report warning Canadians about China destroying Canadian businesses like Nortel etc.

@BenWoodfinden End was the end of a a decade of obsessive financial policies and agreements driven by PM Chrétien with China. He and his Liberal Govt set the state for the current financial and national security crisis in Canada. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jean_Chr%…

@vcar @CBCStephenQuinn @proctor_jason It may be “dazzling” but CBC reporters missed the real story. Completely. The story is about a western democracy, the US, it’s allies pushing back on the giant tyranny and human rights violator China via their tech spy company Huawei, and Canada deciding to align with China.

@cbcnewsbc @proctor_jason Of course the triads would advance this and China 🇨🇳 wants this in the Cullen Commission. Note, the lawyer is representing the triads and China. I note CBC missed this in their reporting 🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️

@anne_in_canada Having worked with the US and Canada, being a Canadian, trust me, you likely have more to worry about in the national security realm with your own country. There is a reason why western democracies are shutting us out. 😯

Another example Canada’s alignment with China will cost Canadians. Contrary to some ‘experts’ Canada doesn’t have the power to choose to play the middle game, the US will play “pick a side” any side. No disrespect to Ms Freeland, she holds no cards. cbc.ca/news/world/buy…
