🇦🇺 Australia: Two Islamic hate-preachers have been deported after inadequate visa checks allowed them into Australia. Two controversial Bangladeshi Islamic preachers were granted visitor visas and allowed into Australia despite their well-documented history of antisemitic and extremist remarks, exposing serious failures in border vetting processes. The backlash erupted rapidly in early April 2026 after media outlets (especially Daily Telegraph, Daily Mail, and Sky News) exposed the preachers' past antisemitic remarks and revealed they had been granted visas for the "A Legacy of Faith" national tour. ▪️Mizanur Rahman Azhari praised Adolf Hitler as “divine punishment” against Jews and described Jews as “the biggest terrorists in the world”. Azhari’s visa was cancelled on or around 1 April 2026; he was deported mid-tour and permanently banned from re-entering Australia. ▪️Shaykh Ahmadullah labelled Jews “despicable,” accused them of being “puppeteers” keeping the world in turmoil, and suggested Jewish conspiracies behind global unrest. Ahmadullah’s visa was cancelled around 5 April; he left Australia before several remaining events, with the rest of the tour largely axed. Both men were invited as lead speakers for the “A Legacy of Faith” national tour (IPDC Legacy 25), organised by the Islamic Practice and Dawah Circle (IPDC) to mark its 25th anniversary. The tour was scheduled to visit multiple cities including: - Brisbane (Islamic College of Brisbane) - Melbourne (Al-Taqwa College) - Sydney (Diamond Venue, Punchbowl) - Canberra (National Convention Centre) - Adelaide (Woodville Town Hall) - Perth Most events were cancelled or disrupted after the visa actions.
