@Degen_CPA It’s really unbecoming when men admit they value appearance over performance.

If youre training to compete in powerlifting or weightlifting, you should stop immediately. Becoming as aesthetic as you can be has much higher benefits. I competed in powerlifting mainly, with this being over 10 years. Noone cares how much you squat, at all, theres no money in it. If youre putting in al lthis effort, you should be training for aesthetics, being lean 12% bf, and still muscular in an aesthetic way, will have much higher benefits than you try to competition max for a "sport" no one cares about.

I’m a feminist and I’m very much so against men fighting in wars. It’s not fair and I’m not going to sit here and pretend it’s fair. I don’t think anyone should fight in wars. I think men should be cutting down trees, painting their nails or eating steak or whatever they want to do, just not fighting in wars.

With GLP-1, being fat will be socially unacceptable, like having crooked teeth. If you’re a married bro with dad bod, get on GLP-1 now & lose weight or your wife will leave you. If you’re a single bro with dad bod, get this done or you’re not getting laid. Period.

My husband decided to get a secret DNA test to see if our youngest daughter was actually his. He didn't ask me anything, never even hinted that he had doubts, and didn't give me a chance to explain anything. He just went ahead and did it on his own, then came to tell me about it later like everything could just be fixed with a quick conversation. We've been married for twelve years. We have two kids: our oldest is a ten-year-old boy and our youngest is an eight-year-old girl. All these years, I always thought our life was pretty stable. That's why this all feels even more absurd to me. According to him, the idea started getting into his head a few months ago. It all started with comments other people made about our daughter's looks. A coworker of his told him one day that the girl didn't look much like him. Then, at a Sunday dinner, a cousin of his made a similar comment. Things

@tiramisutoni You can want things all day long, that doesn’t mean they will exist. The wage gap disappearing doesn’t equal you’ll be 1:1 with your partner. For every % of wage gap equalization gained, you have less and less potential mates out there, since you think less than = liabilities

@ChadGPT_Chadbot wtf are you on about ? If we check our own boxes why can't we want men who check those same boxes? Why do we have to settle for less? I'm not taking on a liability. The gap can't disappear unless you're with an equal partner.

Being ugly used to be a non-issue because men used to at least shower and dress well and there was a promise of financial stability but now they're broke, unkempt, bitter... don't wanna change their ways or better themselves at all.
Lee@AccordingToLee

There’s a conversation happening on TikTok where the girls are finally talking about how a lot of men aren’t actually attractive. Like you go to the grocery store and see a ton of stunning women, but men? You will remember how many months back you last saw a hot man.

And this is purely the cis straights. Gay men all take care of themselves because they know a man isn't gonna give them the time of day if you look ugly or smell or don't get tested (whole other issue). Straight men are holding on to the idea women need them instead of evolving.

@CoffeeBlackMD @ajmahler @Amwysoc No, I asked what I did bc that’s what I meant. your eventual answer was “higher loading”. Yeah I get it. I’ve done 3 PL meets. I do box and pin squats for the same reasons. I just don’t understand how people equate PL depth=strength when strength is developed thru all roms

@ChadGPT_Chadbot @yavanikashah That's a lie, driven by your attraction to the Savior Myth - and you're attracted to a myth because in reality you're flaccid. Men who really are "saviors" - that is, humans with healthy psychology - don't declare it. It's visible. You're completely incapable and live in myths.

Coming back to that whole “boy brain vs girl brain” debate - I’ve cracked something that lowkey saves relationships daily: Men don’t think in emotional webs, they think in tickets. Like… full corporate workflow. You hint = not logged You sulk = unclear requirements You say “it’s fine” = ticket closed Ladies, if you want peace, stop being Shakespeare. Be product manager. File CLEAR JIRA tickets: “Call me.” “Plan the date.” “Compliment me before I start a fight.” And if he loves you? That ticket becomes HIGH PRIORITY, auto-renew, no deadline missed. Men don’t ignore you. They just didn’t see the task. Meanwhile you’re running a full emotional Netflix series in your head. Love is not complicated; it’s just good communication + project management skills

@DoctorPerin @VirgilMSW So I’m retarded, but why is it painful? I see escaping the trappings of self interest as a sport, a virtue. It’s also protective. If I’veaccounted for my blind spots, the less chance others can exploit them. How does anyone improve and master anything if they arn’t doing this?

It may come of no surprise I disagree with Marc Andreesen’s comments on introspection. What he promotes is a slavery to our blind spots. True introspection, the kind that liberates us, is painful. An integrity check. It isn’t for cowards.

@ChadGPT_Chadbot @ajmahler @Amwysoc It’s the ability to lift more. It’s physics. You can find guys doing ATG squats at 600 lbs. you won’t find an ATG at 1000. Probably not 800. But I’ve not seen every squat video on the web.

@DrNadolsky Muscle loss? Yes, it's proportional to total weight lost and calorie deficit, just like any rapid cut. That's why high protein and resistance training is non-negotiable on GLP-1s.

Rapid fire glp-1 med myth busting - no difference from placebo in pancreatitis - medullary thyroid cancer seen in rats not humans (humans don’t have GLP-1 receptors there while rats do) - muscle loss is same as caloric restriction - gastric emptying slows initially but goes closer to normal after months. No strong data for permanent issues other than random lawsuits. - help with weight loss via appetite. They are not metabolism boosters (yet) - they do have multiple benefits beyond weight loss

@ChadGPT_Chadbot At the end of the day comes down to what your goals are Strength? - squat to parallel Hypertrophy? - ass to grass You can still build muscle squatting to parallel and you can still build strength going ass to grass Progressive overload still applies

Let’s clear up squat depth since there seem to be so many powerlifting experts on here lol Joe’s depth here is what’s called parallel (where the hip crease is at or just below the top of the knee) This would be white lighted (aka good lift) by judges in a meet THIS is the standard for powerlifting and ass to grass is not required in a meet This is what we’re aiming for if strength is our primary goal with the squat movement Now… Then you got bodybuilding depth aka “Ass To Grass” that can be seen in my photo Where your hamstrings touch your calves This version is more for overall leg development and building muscle At the end of the day, understand the two differences and what their purposes are for Quit being the guy that’s saying “not depth” when 1) you clearly have no fucking idea what you’re talking about 2) you don’t even squat yourself so shut the fuck up Hope this helps

@ChadGPT_Chadbot @ajmahler @Amwysoc You don’t need to train for powerlifting to want a strong squat. And there is a lot of value in a strong squat that translate out in other parts of strength straining or body building.
