@CrimeMusica @LisaBritton As a white man, I’d prefer that you use per capita figures rather than grouping us together with every other demographic. This has been going on for too long.

Men account for nearly 80% of all suicide deaths. They have higher mortality rates from the leading causes of death, including heart disease, cancer, accidents, chronic respiratory diseases, diabetes, and more. Men’s life expectancy is lower than women’s, a gap that has widened in recent decades. Men are the vast majority of overdoses. This isn’t biology alone at play; it’s compounded by very real societal neglect. Neglect that many of us have been sounding the alarm on for a long time to deaf ears. This men’s health week, let’s make it very clear: men matter, too, and society needs to start giving them the compassion, support and resources they deserve.

Why do some women marry men they are not attracted to? Why do they marry men they do not want to have sex with? The answer is that, for them, marriage is just a way to gain power over someone. If they had a man they were truly attracted to, a man they were genuinely in awe of and loved deeply, how would they have power over him? So they pick a man they do not really like. That way, when they treat him badly, deny him sex and affection, and eventually divorce him and take his stuff, they do not feel bad about it. Because he was never really a person to them. He was a means to an end, a path to power.

@DistractedAnna can’t get out of it’s own way. Like everything else, none of it is her responsibility. It’s always her man’s/this house/society’s boogeyman/where’s the village ‘s fault

@DistractedAnna It’s bc people like you fail to understand that the average low desire woman isn’t excited by the prospect of simply “making out”. These are the “I have a headache””I’m touched out” “I’m overstimulated” types. They are anxiety/self guilt/nerotic ridden and their mind/body ….

Don’t understand why ppl can’t see that the “make out every night” ritual/advice is designed to increase satisfaction for both the we-should-have-more-sex spouse and the we-should-share-more-physical-affection-without-sex spouse, and is likely pretty successful at both

No one actually wishes their parents had divorced. What you wish is that they had loved each other well. Those are very different things. And that’s exactly the point. Children deserve parents who do the hard work, not parents who quit and break their vows.

I never did any cool guy stuff so I'm fully aware there's a good chance that I'd bitch out or instantly get killed if given the opportunity but the urge to say fuck it and start rectifying the wrongs of our society grows more and more frequent.

@AlobhaPatrick @jadethebpdcoach “Everyone has xxxxxxxx” is the bigger problem. The egalitarian marginalization inherent to this statement is designed to make certain people feel good, not recognize reality. It’s also simply false. Some people have amazing lives.

@Corbienest @PA_P3RRY I think you are overestimating how enticing “nightly make out sessions” are to the average wife. Ie the same cohort with thousands of reels about “over stimulated” and “touched out”. The ppl who when they finally realize they can’t “do it all” pick divorce as their do less thing

@PA_P3RRY Yes? I think a lot of men who are mad at this are not understanding how much sex nightly makeout sessions will naturally lead to.

Married men only: If you could have sex with your wife at LEAST twice as often as you are now BUT you had to make out every night with your wife before bed (which may or may not lead to sex) would you prefer: A: Twice as much sex: nightly make-out session. B: The same amount of sex: no nightly make-out session. C: Results

Case in point: I went on a date a while back and afterwards came on too strong. She was even less interested after the fact than during the date. In contrast, I hooked up with a girl like two weekends ago and she said at some point and I quote, “I am crazy” to which I immediately determined I was never speaking to her again after that day. Then, once I said I felt it’d be best if we didn’t continue talking to each other, she blew my phone up incessantly. Lol again….. case in point. People want what they can’t have. Also what the homie Corbie said is spot-on.

Spent too much time online and misunderstood the assignment. I cut everyone off (it’s a boundary) and dumped my partner (toxic narcissist). Now I’m sitting at home alone self-caremaxxing, protecting my peace, and emailing my psychiatrist about increasing my antidepressant dosage.

"I want to have sex with her even if she doesn't feel like it" is a statement that men are way too comfortable saying on this website.
