Northern Uganda might be called Republic of Kenya as far as agriculture goes. Enterprising Kenyans have leased huge tracts of land in Amuru, Nwoya etc and planting - maize, soy beans averaging >200-300 acres. One farm has 3000 acres of land and 250 will be for maize this season.

In one of my discussions in a certain policy forum, I opined that we need to adopt the approach of Kg/tree and ask how many trees each farmer has. Not acres. Efforts should be geared at ensuring farmers get optimum yield per tree. This would change interventions, inputs and perception of farmers. Most communes in Vietnam take this approach. Farmers compete to get the maximum yield per tree

Breaking news; Since we r done with Elections, my next step is to report corrupt commissioners in @OPMUganda , who get loans the time they steal government money. Will show the world how they have so many properties(land, houses), how they sleep with interns promising them appointments at work with evidence . Will post 12 episodes Naye ekijja bajja kiwulila 😏 @AntiGraft_SH @IGGUganda

If you’re in charge of licensing every car on the road in Uganda, a process that requires thorough vehicle inspection, can we ask you about the DMC buses and PSVs that claim lives everyday in road carnage? Are we waiting for Christmas travels to claim more lives and we type RIP?
