@KateTigs_ I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again they should get rid off all the railcards and just have 1 “all persons railcard” - some have mention the Network railcard but that has a geographical restriction albeit not an age one.

There should be a singles over 30 railcard. I genuinely hate how this world isn’t made for single people.

@tomhfh As an ex Tesco manager I can tell you lots of the young workers hated coming on for 10am on a Sunday, maybe they wanted to have a late night Saturday. As a shift work my self sometimes shopping at conventional times isn’t always an option. Scotland manager longer trading hours!

I’m just back to London after a weekend away with my family. A busy week ahead, so now is the perfect time to go and do the big weekly shop. Thanks to politicians not understanding how family life actually works I now have precisely 20 minutes before the shop shuts. It’s not going to happen.

@CheshireEast with you not being on @fixmystreet can some one take a lot at the lights on the round about by Crewe Arms. At least 5 lights out making it dark for pedestrians.

@Heidi_Labour What would make it better for everyone is if we got rid of all railcards and replaced it with one railcard like an “all persons” railcard so there was something for everyone with the only eligibility being the requirement to pay for the railcard

@TM_James_ @easyJet I was interest in the response to this James as of course PRO (Passenger rights and Obligations) particularly article UK/EU261 was first introduced for airlines. Though it seems to take about duty of care for delays over 2 hours

Hi @easyJet — if the last flight from Belfast to London is majorly delayed and that delay means passengers miss their last trains home can you confirm you’ll cover reasonable taxi costs as part of your duty of care? Passengers shouldn’t be stranded because of airline delays.

@tfwrail first local train of the day cancelled for stations between Shrewsbury and Crewe (Whitchurch and Nantwich) what’s the alternative to our 2 hour gap on a Sunday?

Our railway system isn’t *always* great, but there *are*some bits which are extraordinarily ACE. One such is @tfwrail’s dining car service, between Cardiff & Manchester: I’ve just settled down to a £12.50 chef-cooked breakfast; my first class ticket was just £5 more than the standard. I’m sitting in a glorious Mk4 carriage with leather seats and windows aligned for picture-perfect views of cloud-topped and wooded Herefordshire and Shropshire hills. Castles and churches, signal boxes and wind turbines: this railway line up through Ludlow and Shrewsbury is one of my happy places, and it’s made even better by the superbly-specified train and the extremely engaging and enthusiastic team aboard. Honestly, it’s worth doing any long segment of this journey: even in standard class there’s an at-seat service of freshly-cooked breakfast menu or later, lunches and dinner. You can tell which trains are planned to have the service by looking for TfW trains which are marked with 1st class too. More people need to know about this, and I genuinely recommend this trip to you too.
