During my career I’ve managed the grounds of several golf courses, had my own business, and took care of the Athletic fields for OU. Managing the athletic fields was by far the lowest paying and difficult of the 3. The athletic department was always looking for ways to generate more revenue. I’m glad we didn’t ever do this, but hats off to the Aggie Turf staff and @aggiefieldguy for pulling this off, I hope you and your staff got a good bonus for going above and beyond normal working requirements.

It's a shame that Knights of the Old Republic II wasn't able to capitalize on Darth Nihilus in the way that was clearly intended.
Whenever another character talks about him, he sounds terrifying. He is the prime cosmic horror of this universe, but for one reason or another we don't actually get to see him like that. When you finally face Nihilus, it's like any other combat encounter in the game and you're likely overpowered by that point as well.
If we ever get another chance to see Nihilus, presumably in a remake, I think modern tech would be the answer to seeing him as we always should have. An absolute spectacle of a boss fight revealing him as the great terror he was always meant to be.

This is my son. He is almost 16 and wants a vehicle. I refuse to buy him one and told him he needs to pay for it himself. He got a job as a rec basketball league referee and quickly realized how long it would take to save up enough money to get a $3k car making $12/hour. Then I showed him some cooler $6k options on Bring a Trailer and he got the itch to make more money. I gave him countless ideas to pursue. He wasn't feeling any of them. Then I decided to show him some podcast episodes from @mhp_guy (he's listened to some from Chris before and was a fan). No ideas were really hitting home until he heard an episode between Chris and @ShannonJean about reselling. He fell in love. So I showed him a few more and he was convinced that that was the route he should take. We started browsing B-Stock and then realized we need a state tax license and some other stuff so we got that all set up. Then we browsed some more. Endless deals. We settled on buying 115 rugs at an average of $13/rug after shipping. They're all Costco returns. Various sizes, some in better condition than others. He now has to figure out how to sell all these through my Facebook Marketplace account. I won't be helping him at all, other than answering questions and casually giving him strategic ideas here and there. If he can sell the rugs at an average price of $35 (keep in mind some are brand new and are 10' x 14' large), he'll make $2500 in profit. Then we can start car shopping :). P.S. Chris and Shannon - thanks for the motivation!!!

@XDarthThunderX I loved this era of DVD menus. From the load in being the Star Wars logo filled with scenes from the respective movie. To the menu screens using various locations in the movie. Not to mention the slide show of the main cast in the main menu.

The reason we are having this problem is the lack of intrinsic shame, and being able to hide public shane via using an EBT card.
Back when it was literal food stamps, you had to pull out the booklet and everyone around you knew you needed them, so you felt shamed on the spot. And people felt shame needing to rely on their fellow citizen paying for them. Crappy culture killed the second, EBT cards killed the first.
Shame is a powerful correction mechanism if employed fairly. But that’s mean.

YouTube has this nailed in their main app. Not even the kids one. I’m pretty sure they track and suggest based on which device you’re using and time of day. When I put a show on for my boys on the tv, it never suggests any of my normal content, it will always populate it with their shows. When I’m back on my device, doesn’t suggest kid shows either.

Spotify needs to release a “kids” setting so I can play all the songs my kids listen to without it affecting my own Discovery algorithm.

Yeah i like dukes but I'm one of those weird seed oils people now so I either make my own or get the avocado oil stuff which sucks compared to dukes. I do sugar free bbq sauce too usually. I don't mind sweet baby rays though, it's a good base and tastes good. What's your favorite?
