@Juliemkal @inter_miki @lesstenny Cost of living is beyond ridiculous, housing is at an all time high as they don't have near enough. Energy prices are unreliable and the cost has gone through the roof, I could go on and on. This government is useless!!!

@Juliemkal @inter_miki @lesstenny Yep just about everything on that above list he has stuffed up when you read it. Interest rates went up how many times before they went down under this govt.? Healthcare is really bad here my mum spent 5 hours waiting in a ambo before getting into hospital.

@inter_miki @lesstenny He handed it over to the black market. Now, his treasurer won't have to bother himself with tobacco revenue issues.

Day 3 and no movement or communication from anyone. @TeamYouTube did thankfully DM me, but I’m still in a “we will circle back around” holding pattern. Not trying to rush anyone, I would rather have a thorough review than a fast review. Thank you everyone for helping keep the pressure on
GrimmGreen@GrimmGreen

After 16 years, my @YouTube channel (GrimmGreen) was terminated today with no real explanation. I’ve built my content around harm reduction, helping adult smokers quit, and advocating for science-based policies. This feels like a huge mistake. If you believe in THR, free speech, and the mission we’ve been on, please help me get YouTube’s attention. @TeamYouTube I’m asking for a real human to review my case. I’ve never promoted anything illegal. I’ve never targeted youth. I’ve worked tirelessly to be a responsible voice in the vaping and harm reduction space. But like many creators in this space, it seems I’ve been swept up in an overly aggressive moderation wave.

Wishing everyone a happy holiday season!! With so much uncertainty around us, I just want to say how much I appreciate the THR community. No matter where you’re from, we’re all connected by shared humanity, kindness, and support for one another. To those supporting from overseas, thank you. Your messages, encouragement, and solidarity really matter. Knowing you’re all out there makes the hard moments easier and reminds me why this is worth it. @wooldorsockbatt @drjoesDIYhealth @jamomartin @DrWoofAus @LivePippas @PamThis @jkelovuori @RushmoreExt23 @plopnl @PantherNoster @VaperNt @BradK87287 @ArielleSelya @AranenZen @ianamossyd @broomstick33 @GhostofPrickles @PruenRichard @OzCableguy @thebee @TheDrknownaswho @mrmiley @Southernvaper1 @HansPeterAlbre1 @mihotep @DarIsb66 @bmose88 @MarewaGlover @GrimmGreen @ChaunceyGardner And to everyone I have crossed paths with over the last year!!

Deplatforming one of the most responsible voices in tobacco harm reduction sends a chilling message. Education ≠ promotion.
Science ≠ targeting youth. @TeamYouTube, please review this case—fairly and transparently.

If you run a business, write books, @YouTubeCreators, do research, are an academic, provide a platform like @YouTube, you rely on consumers. I haven’t changed my 2019 profile pic for ages because I am proud to have shared the stage with consumers - people like @GrimmGreen and many others who used vaping to stop smoking and then set out to help others avoid the diseases and early death associated with smoking 🚬. The lives being saved by switching to vaping will be in the millions. It’s made possible by this partnership between health drs, researchers and consumers, especially consumer experts like @GrimmGreen. The number of people who have stopped smoking and thus avoided the misery of emphysema or lung cancer because of @GrimmGreen’s @YouTube channel would be in the hundreds of thousands! He gave people the truth about the products and the confidence to switch. @TeamYouTube your AI 🤖 has made a serious mistake terminating his channel!😡 Or is your problem Enshittification explained in Cory Doctorow’s book by the same name which exposes the way monopoly platforms are ripping off both creators and consumers. If you fail your consumers, someone else like @elonmusk will step in. Please have a human with a heart and good soul review this termination. @YouTube you’ve made a mistake.

This is deeply concerning. For 16 years, @GrimmGreen used his @YouTube channel to promote harm reduction, help adult smokers quit, and advocate for evidence-based public health. No illegal promotion. No youth targeting. No bad faith. Terminating a channel like this without a clear explanation isn’t protecting users it’s silencing responsible voices and undermining trust in the platform. @TeamYouTube this deserves a serious, human review. If your moderation systems can’t distinguish between harmful content and legitimate public health advocacy, then the system itself needs urgent scrutiny. Harm reduction saves lives. Science matters. Due process matters. Please take a hard look at this decision.

We’re getting dangerous guns off our streets with a national buyback. Right now, there are more guns in Australia than there were during Port Arthur. We can’t allow that to continue. Non-citizens have no need to own a gun. And someone in suburban Sydney has no need to own six. But that’s exactly what one of the terrorists from the weekend had access to. We’re working with the states and territories on tough new gun laws, and together we will buy back newly banned and illegal firearms. The deadly terrorist attack at Bondi Beach can never be allowed to happen again. Tougher gun laws aren’t the whole answer, but we will do everything it takes to keep Australians safe.

#BREAKING: Australia announces a gun buyback and new restrictions on firearms after the Bondi massacre. “We need to go further” than the restrictions imposed after the 1996 Port Arthur massacre, says PM Anthony Albanese.

@VaperNt @CaldronPool @DavidLeyonhjelm Yep it's easier to ban vapes to keep some parents happy rather than considering harm reduction for smokers. This government is useless, it's all about their voter base.

Just a thought, after 9/11 why didn’t the US government have a buy back scheme for all the planes ✈️? Oh, was it because planes are only weapons when they get into extremists hands? What about guns…. (Rinse and repeat…)

More insanity - Labor are creating an illicit gun trade industry under the guise of a gun buyback program. And it’s all taxpayer funded Criminals will not hand in their guns, neither will the radicalised Islamic extremists But just like the tobacco shops what will happen is criminals will capitalize on the opportunity to make billions. They’ll ship in guns via the ports (which is already a problem) and hand them in for cash and taxpayers will foot the bill Then Labor will say - See, look at all these guns, aren’t we great? And the public will know it’s just another scam taxpayers are funding Oh and guns aren’t the problem. Radicalised Islamic Extremists are

@Matt_Camenzuli I smoked from the age of 15 to 50, I finally found a way of giving up by swapping to vaping 11 years ago. So the government decides that's not good enough and effectively bans that as well. When I run out of regulated vapes from NZ I have to buy unregulated product from the BM.

I became addicted to cigarettes when I was young. Like so many Australians. At that time cigarettes were a legal, affordable, and enjoyable product. There were a variety of options available. As debate rages on about the legalisation of marijuana, safe pill testing and building injecting rooms, for those who are addicted to other substances, smokers are treated as criminals. Now, most smokers are driven to the crime of illicit tobacco by the government. The cost, and flavour of the 'legitimate' tobacco is unpalatable for most. If the government does not scrap the insane rules, a new market will form. A market that will be the most profitable of them all. As those who could afford to continue to smoke, but can't stand the flavour and quality of the new "official" government approved tobacco. Those people who would pay a premium for quality cigarettes, because the imports and chop we get are absolute garbage. The government must start treating Australians addicted to a legal product with more respect. We are not children. We are not evil monsters, and we don't want to be criminals. We just want to smoke, and that should be our choice.
Dr. Nick Coatsworth@nick_coatsworth

Surely the Albanese government can’t ignore this any more. Australian smokers are being forced by tax policy into funding organised crime. And all the while cheap cigarettes are available to a now growing group of smokers. Disastrous public health policy. abc.net.au/news/2025-11-0…
