Did you know the Southern Baptist Convention will only be hosted 1 time in the Deep South over the next 10 years? Willy Rice is spot on - we need to ask for a change to the convention schedule from the convention floor The majority of years need to be where the majority of people are so we can best represent our local churches!

When it comes to the SBC Annual Meeting, location matters. Here are some of my thoughts and concerns.

What a powerful testimony from Chloe Cole at Home Depot's Annual Meeting Home Depot executives likely did not know their corporate healthcare plan was covering transgender medical procedures for minors Home Depot has an opportunity to follow the science by adding a clear carve-out on transgender medical procedures for children If Walmart, the largest employer in the US, can do it, so can you!

‼️This morning, detransitioner @ChloeCole delivered a hard-hitting message at @HomeDepot: it's past time for corporate America to take seriously the risks of covering gender transition surgery. ⏬ And the case couldn't be clearer. Chloe, who went through the process of medical transition between ages 12-16, presented a shareholder proposal from @InspireAdvisor, explained how her life story demonstrates the risks of these medical interventions. "Shareholders deserve to know whether Home Depot is subsidizing, endorsing, or being pressured into supporting medical interventions that many doctors, parents, and former patients now recognize as dangerous for children and teenagers. Based on publicly available information from the Human Rights Campaign last year, Home Depot's healthcare plan seems to include transgender medical interventions for covered dependents, including children. Millions of American families trust Home Depot with their homes. It's that legacy that makes it imperative to act now before the name 'Home Depot' is permanently attached to the sterilization and mutilation of children. Because children deserve to be protected. Families deserve transparency. Shareholders deserve to know what is being done with their investments." This is a powerful moment. In a few short years, we have gone from gender ideology being an often-unquestioned guide for corporate policy, to America's biggest companies hearing directly from those victimized by it. Thank you, Chloe, for your bravery, and to the many organizations working to highlight these issues: @ADFLegal, @1792Exchange, @Heritage, @AmericanFamAssc, @donoharm, @ThemBeforeUs, @EPPCdc, and beyond. This is how culture changes.

✈️ Corporate engagement is producing real progress at Delta Air Lines. Here's what's happening now. ⏬ Earlier this year, we engaged with the company on behalf of @inspireadvisor around areas of brand politicization, including in workplace policies and charitable giving practices. During our very constructive discussion with the company, @JerryLeeBowyer dropped one line that seemed to epitomize the spirit of our interactions with the airline industry (in fairness, it also applies to every other industry): “Delta can’t fly with just a left wing – it needs both wings to fly." The line drew a laugh because it captured Delta’s commitment to avoiding one-sided stands and focusing on its core mission. That was several months ago - and we're thrilled to announce some notable additions to the company's latest disclosure/reporting emphasizing themes from this engagement. 🔹Delta’s BRG discussion now notes openness to formation of new BRGs, including faith-based groups  🔹Delta’s statement about EEO compliance has been updated to acknowledge: no quotas  🔹 Delta’s community engagement sponsorship examples include a range of activities in which Delta participates, including highlighted religious examples 🔹 The Matching Gifts to Education program of the Delta Foundation clarifies that the program allows matching of donations to institutions with a religious focus This is Delta taking that message about left wing vs right wing to heart, and taking its responsibility to political neutrality seriously for shareholders like Inspire. When we're in these meetings, having discussions with companies about the most critical issues of the day, it’s the voices of ordinary American shareholders driving the interaction. A massive shoutout to Inspire/@RobertNetzly for being the shareholder proponent for this engagement with Delta. Getting progress in the airline industry is a major sign that the vibe shift in corporate America, ditching politics and prioritizing business, is real. ‼️At @PayPal's annual meeting, we asked about its relationship with the Southern Poverty Law Center. Here's what happened. ⏬ It's a standout case. PayPal has reportedly used SPLC to guide corporate policies, including ones pertaining to acceptable use. In 2022, @ADFLegal described this relationship as "reliance... on the word of one of the most notoriously dishonest activist groups in the country." After the assassination of @charliekirk11, shareholders such as @Heritage and @DavidBahnsen began pushing for answers from companies that rely on the SPLC's metrics for corporate policies in acceptable use, charitable eligibility, and beyond. This was a major corporate engagement initiative: was SPLC guidance leading to exclusions of religious/right-of-center organizations from charitable eligibility? What was the risk calculus actually being done? Some companies, like Salesforce and Texas Instruments, responded constructively to this engagement from shareholders and partner orgs such as @1792Exchange, cutting SPLC ties as a result. Others did not: Starbucks and Amazon were key examples. Another example: PayPal. PayPal refused to answer our question about SPLC metrics during the meeting. These concerns will only grow - as the SPLC becomes even more discredited (@Tyler2ONeil @greg_scott), and as PayPal continues to elicit scrutiny over DEI (see the company's recent $30M DOJ settlement @TheJusticeDept @DAGToddBlanche @HarmeetKDhillon), investors are right to demand answers about this clear and growing source of corporate politicization. Corporations should not be in the business of funding a mass medical experiment on children. Shockingly 568 companies still affirmed in the 2026 HRC CEI survey that they provide health insurance that pays for “gender transition” drugs and surgeries that permanently and catastrophically devastate the minds, bodies, and souls of children who are covered under employee plans. This is unacceptable. Corporations should heed the rising medical consensus against offering these procedures to minors.
U.S. Department of Justice@TheJusticeDept

Justice Department Secures Landmark Resolution to End Pediatric “Gender-Affirming Care” and Create Detransition Clinic “The Justice Department will use every weapon at its disposal to end the destructive and discredited practice of so-called ‘gender-affirming care’ for children,” said Acting Attorney General @DAGToddBlanche. “Today’s resolution protects vulnerable children, holds providers accountable, and ensures those harmed receive the care they need.” 🔗: justice.gov/opa/pr/justice…

@Heritage recently called out Starbucks for work with the Southern Poverty Law Center. Here's what they said. ⏬ At Starbucks' annual meeting, the company faced a shareholder proposal from The Heritage Foundation via its Free Enterprise Initiative over its reliance on the Southern Poverty Law Center in vetting charities. FEI principal @StefanPadfield presented for Heritage, urging the company to drop this biased, discredited data source as part of its responsibility to fiduciary duty and political neutrality. "Given that relying on the SPLC’s Hate List is a business decision that must be fully informed in order to satisfy applicable fiduciary duties, shareholders can seemingly only conclude that Starbucks is aware of how biased the Hate List is, and either simply doesn’t care or actually supports that bias." Also of note - this meeting happened before the DOJ's indictment of the SPLC. Conservative investors' risk calculus is being vindicated once again. Give it a listen below (@BowyerPodcast). Really glad to see this! This is a huge win for @BaptistLeaders, @samwebb1876, @marcminter, and @Jason_Gray! Well done gents. That said, let me breakdown what you’re about to witness in the reaction. Here’s how it works: > Issue exists in the SBC. Liberal stuff. Fielder church with women pastors in Texas in the SBTC (the conservative convention) for example > The Platform and the Loyalists either ignore it or silently support it > Normies don’t know > Reformers draw attention to it, get attacked and called names for being “uncharitable” > Reformers (in this case, @samwebb1876, @marcminter, @jason_gray, aided by @BaptistLeaders) fight to fix it, hold Platform accountable > Platform drags feet; Reformers keep getting calls bad names for pointing out weak reactions and unaddressed liberalism > Eventually, Reformers force action > Good resolution > Platform and Loyalists act as if they were “fighting” all along and support the outcome > The positive resolution 100% would NOT have come if good men didn’t stand up and say something and get attacked for it > Reformers get no credit, even though without them the issue would have gone unresolved > Platform pats itself on back and says “See, no liberalism” > Rinse and repeat

We are thankful for this strong proposed solution to address the issue of women pastors in the Southern Baptists of Texas Convention (SBTC)! And we congratulate @marcminter, @samwebb1876, and @jason_gray in particular for their hard work to secure this win. We were glad to assist them in their good work with multiple articles and podcasts published to draw attention to the issue and propose solutions. This is proof positive that our efforts are having an effect and we are gaining ground!
