As part of the initiative, the Intellectual Property Facilitation Centre (IPFC) was introduced to provide a one-stop solution for IP filing support, fostering innovation and sustainable growth among MSMEs. The IPFC has been established with sponsorship support from the Ministry of MSME, Government of India, under the MSME Innovative Scheme, to help startups and MSMEs effectively harness Intellectual Property tools. The Hon’ble Chief Minister of Uttarakhand, Shri Pushkar Singh Dhami, mentioned Devbhoomi Udyamita Yojana during the State Budget 2026–27 speech, highlighting the role of the initiative in promoting entrepreneurship among youth in Uttarakhand. Devbhoomi Udyamita Yojana is an initiative of the Department of Higher Education, Government of Uttarakhand, and is being implemented by Entrepreneurship Development Institute of India. Over the past three years, the scheme has supported thousands of students in exploring entrepreneurship and developing enterprise ideas. Through training, mentoring, and ecosystem support, EDII continues to contribute to nurturing future entrepreneurs and strengthening India’s entrepreneurial growth. The Institute, in collaboration with the Puducherry Industrial Promotion Development and Investment Corporation Limited (PIPDIC), Government of Puducherry, successfully organised a Vendor Development Programme, bringing together 205 MSMEs from Puducherry and Karaikal. Senior Procurement Leaders from Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Limited, Bharat Electronics Limited, Chennai Petroleum Corporation Limited, Bharatiya Nabhikiya Vidyut Nigam Limited, and Jyothy Labs Limited engaged with entrepreneurs, alongside a dedicated Government e-Marketplace (GeM) onboarding drive. As part of the International Conclave on AI for Inclusion & the Future of Work 2026 ,iCreate moderated an impactful panel on AI Inequality: Reframing Global Development and Prosperity Strategies, led by Parag Amin, Chief Mentor, iCreate.
