Regarding this Parliament, I have been patient before, but this term there will be no room for leaders who seek titles without helping the people they lead. I am directing NRM leaders to return to the parishes and ensure that existing government programmes are lifting people out of poverty. I do not want to hear excuses about poverty while solutions already exist. Ministers and government officials who fail in this responsibility will be held accountable. This is Kisanja no sleep . Enough is enough.

I congratulate the Rt. Hon. Speaker Jacob Oboth Oboth and Deputy Speaker Thomas Tayebwa and thank the MPs for carrying out their mandate of voting, peacefully and transparently. The NRM candidates obtained more votes than the NRM members in the House, and I note the votes our ally Mao took away. We shall address this because we want a united Parliament that serves our people better.

I will pray that she keeps every shilling of whatever she accumulated. I will pray that those who rise against her are scattered. I will pray that God either elevates her or grants her peace. And I will pray all this for one simple reason: there is no one left with the moral authority to judge her. If they spared the other one, then let them spare her too. Let corruption reign in this country. Let it reign without shame. Because clearly, no one in power has the moral authority to act the way they are acting now. May God protect you, @AnitahAmong. The rest is in His hands, since those entrusted with justice have long abandoned it.

It seems our attention has been heavily focused on Rt. Hon. Anita Among while ignoring other serious cases of mismanagement of public funds. Mr. Tugume is bringing an American singer and actor Mr. Tyrese Gibson on 3rd October 2026 at a cost of $1 million USD, an amount far higher than the money spent on purchasing a Rolls-Royce , all in the name of promoting Ugandan coffee. My question is: how exactly does this faded singer and actor promote our coffee? How many Ugandans even know his songs or movies? Why can’t we empower our own local artists to become ambassadors of Ugandan coffee instead of spending huge sums on foreign celebrities? These coffee marathon activities should be urgently investigated because we are losing a lot of money on things that add little or no value to ordinary Ugandans.
