Tbh, I don’t think Israel cares how it’s perceived any longer. There’s nothing Israel can do to both safeguard itself from attacks, and recover its reputation. The only thing that would satisfy the Palestinians and the critics is to disappear. That’s why anti-Zionism is now the dominant discourse. And at its core anti-Zionism wants the end of the Jewish state. It’s about time people were honest about this. And Israel, quite rightly, won’t sacrifice itself so Western elites (yes you), can sleep at night safe on their no risk moral high ground.

Ethan Agarwal is running against Ro Khanna in California’s 17th district, but he only has seven thousand followers on X. It would be nice to see that change. Check out his page and help get the word out! Ethan is a 40 year-old techie with no priors in office and no widespread name recognition, but he has a sensible platform and he seems like a straight shooter. He’s pro-capitalism and pro-growth and he’s pro-America. He gets who our allies are and he is standing up to the wave of anti-Israel hysteria on the left. Yes, he’s aligned with run of the mill centrist Democratic views on social issues like abortion and gun ownership, but he’s also criticizing far-left progressivist agendas and proposals. He talks about standing up to “Trump’s dangerous agenda” but he’s also focusing on economic and good government reforms over purely social issues. Importantly, his foreign policy appears to be conservative center-left and he’s a potential pathway to kicking apologists for the Iranian lobby in DC like Ro Khanna out of office. He supports taking on the Khamenei regime saying that “removing Khamenei was the right thing,” and he has a security focused lens in areas that matter like AI and data center security: “If we don’t build data centers and progress in AI, it is a national security threat.” No, I don’t know him, and never engaged with his campaign. Just really found out about Ethan. But I like what I see … he’s a fighter and even if Ethan doesn’t win, he could slow Khanna down in ways that yield something positive down the line.
