In yet another horrific violent attack in London, an Israeli man was beaten nearly unconscious in a Jewish neighborhood after he was heard speaking Hebrew. According to reports, a group of men shouted at him in Arabic, chased him down, dragged him across the road, and assaulted him until he required hospital treatment. No arrests have been made. This incident comes just two weeks after two Jewish men were stabbed outside a synagogue in the same neighborhood. British Jews should not have to be on guard 24/7, but this is the reality of London in 2026. Enough words. Now is the time for concrete, visible action.

J Street loves to pretend that it has “disagreements” with Israel that can be debated in good faith as a dispute among family, but it’s all an act. When you actually look at J Street’s lobbying agenda – I have been paying close attention to it for nearly 20 years – you realize that J Street’s reason for existing is not to “change the conversation” or whatever the euphemism of the day is, but to encourage the United States government to pressure Israel. (One example: lobbying for a resolution that encouraged the US government to refer to the Old City of Jerusalem as Palestinian territory.) I prefer enemies with honor to friends without shame.
