If you use websockets on #Solana mainnet, we hope that you are not so naive to blindly believe @Quicknode claims about their new enhanced wss service. Instead, you should use our independent RPC Inspector Pro to run side-by-side comparisons with other wss services like we did using free accounts by Quicknode and @Helius. Inspector Pro launches websockets remotely from 31 global locations on 6 continents with slotSubscribe to determine which endpoint is delivering notifications sooner, in each location. If supported, similar data is captured about blockSubscribe instead. Later, all observations are merged by location and slot/hash to count the winner of each race for every slot/hash-location. In total, Inspector Pro is able to collect telemetry data from Oregon, N. California, Mexico, Columbus (OH), N. Virginia, Montreal, São Paulo, Ireland, Zaragoza, London, Paris, Frankfurt, Zurich, Milan, Stockholm, Cape Town, Tel Aviv, Dubai, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, Jakarta, Hong Kong, Taipei, Seoul, Osaka, Tokyo, Melbourne and Sydney. Earlier today we did 16 runs in pairs of two locations (e.g. Montreal + Milan) to compare Helius wss and Quicknode wss for their free accounts. Our findings are that Quicknode won in every run! E.g. in case of the Montreal + Milan run, Quicknode was earlier to observe the slot notification in 151 combinations, while Helius prevailed in 22 (and 5 were ties). Ofc, is it possible their paid plans would produce different results? Or, another provider might outperform Quicknode.
