After 6 wks of living at command center in one room w/ 2 dogs, sleeping on cots, making meals in microwave & hot plate, & having very limited movement, we're back at residence during ceasefire. Actual bed! Being Ambassador is filled w/ luxury & adventure!

🇮🇱🇱🇧 Katz says Israel will demolish Lebanon border villages to create Gaza-style buffer zone
Israel’s Defense Minister Israel Katz, says the military intends to occupy parts of southern Lebanon even after the current war with Hezbollah ends.
In a video statement, Katz outlined the Israeli military plans to establish a new security zone in southern Lebanon, and says that “all homes in Lebanese villages near the border will be destroyed — in accordance with the Rafah and Beit Hanoun model in Gaza,” in order “to remove, once and for all, the threats near the border.”
He added that the 600,000 residents of southern Lebanon who have been forced to flee would not be able to return “until the safety and security of northern Israeli residents is ensured”, and a Gaza-style ethnic cleansing model would be applied.

Last night Israel deliberately killed at least 3 journalists and also struck a van of 5 medics, killing them all. This comes as their forces are getting ambushed by Hezbollah semi-regularly on the ground.
Killing medics and journalists from the air is safer and likely connected to the battlefield losses.

It is totally, obviously wrong to tell people the "entire political architecture" of Evangelical Christianity "rests on a theological claim" about "the modern state of Israel."
This is not at all helpful for people genuinely trying to understand what's going on right now. I don't think even the most ardent dispensationalists would agree with that characterization.

🚨 NEW: IDF drops indictment against soldiers videotaped sexually abusing Palestinian detainee at Sde Teiman
➤ Israel’s Military Advocate General Itay Offir canceled the indictment against five IDF soldiers, citing evidentiary and procedural problems, according to The Jerusalem Post.
➤ The soldiers were accused of sexually assaulting a Palestinian detainee at the Sde Teiman military detention facility, including sodomizing him with a sharp object.
➤ Medical reports found the detainee suffered fractured ribs, chest trauma, and a perforated rectum that required surgery. The Israeli soldiers claimed they were acting in self-defense.
➤ Prosecutors said the case was complicated after video of the abuse was leaked by the former Military Advocate, who later resigned, and after the detainee was released back to Gaza before testifying.
➤ Defense Minister Israel Katz welcomed the decision, calling the case a “blood libel against IDF soldiers.”
He added that “the role of the IDF’s legal system is to protect and safeguard IDF soldiers who engage heroically in war.”
