What is it with you North Dakota piss heads selling hay by the bale but the bales always being 300-400 pounds less than you claim? Very rarely does anyone sell hay by the bale in SD. Unless it’s corn stalks. I would assume the whole state isn’t dishonest so is it stupidity ?

I got an “Emergency” Livestock Relief Program payment this week. For an “emergency” (drought) that occurred in 2023. Cattle are at record highs, feed is cheap, and the USDA is mailing me checks. What are we even doing?

The House Agriculture Committee is expected to begin Farm Bill markup this week. This is a critical window to include mandatory country-of-origin labeling for beef. If your Representative serves on the House Agriculture Committee, call and urge them to support including MCOOL in the Farm Bill. If your Representative does not serve on the Committee, call and ask them to contact Committee members and push for MCOOL inclusion. Know someone represented by a Committee member? I know this for fact. It has been 47 years. Because MY dad was in Iran multiple times 47 years ago promoting USA beef and corn. He decided it was getting too tense and had to come home. The very next plane that left Tehran Iran was hijacked.
