Name the best-tasting chocolate in the world. And don't even think about posting "Hershey's." That stuff tastes like vomit-flavored wax. For me? Cadburys Dairy Milk and Milka.

@Layo_FH Your system may be incorrect, a London Borough had my parents home as having downstairs loo - nope. And asked how many bedrooms were upstairs when downsizing (3) I asked if they told them there was also one downstairs (no they didn’t ask me that…) bless ‘em

I found out today that pensioners are exempt from the bedroom tax. We have a tenant in his early 80s who is the sole occupant of a 4/5 bed home (he told my colleague it was a 5 bed, but our system says it is a 4 bed) in the Brockley conservation area. That home would be probably be worth about £1.5million on the open market. The injustice.
Leo Gibbons@Layo_FH

Today I overheard a tenant phoning their housing officer to downsize. They wanted to move out of their 4 bed (4-bed!) social home in Nunhead (beautiful street) to a 2-bed, as they were being hit by the bedroom tax. I nearly fell out of my chair. We actually had a tenant wanting to downsize!

For any of you who don't know the English sport of cricket... That is seriously impressive coaching text book bowling action. Over arm! Most 11 yr olds ( boys or girls) haven't mastered it, and for a GIRL to do it... Wow. ( spare me any feminist outrage - most 11 yr old girls are throwing underarm -if not running away from the ball squealing)

Loving this short video from the Wales Instagram account to celebrate Princess Charlotte's 11th Birthday as they did for Prince Louis🤩 You can really see the spirit of each child in those short videos from their Easter holiday in Cornwall and I love how normal these children look when they are in their private lives, enjoying their fanily holidays😍 Their parents have really created a cocoon of serenity around their family lives👌🏽 📹 Kensington Palace IG via Tokkianami

This is specifically Lauterbrunnen. Not AI. Not fake. No filters. It literally looks like that. No cars allowed. 10 years ago I saw a single image of Lauterbrunnen on Reddit. When Reddit was normal. So I went. Most people go and stop at Lucerne...but you must keep going. If anyone respond to this. I'll send pics.

Prince Albert, Duke of York and his wife, Elizabeth, Duchess of York, announce the birth of a new daughter, whom they name Elizabeth after her mother. The child was delivered by Caesarean section at 02:40 at 17 Bruton Street in Mayfair, London. Elizabeth is third in line for the British throne behind the Duke of York and her uncle, Edward, Prince of Wales. However, it’s expected that the Prince of Wales will have many heirs, and that Elizabeth will remain just a princess.

Dear @chilternrailway You have imposed an illegal purported 'queueing' system at Marylebone. In fact is dangerous and unlawful kettling of innocent passengers, to which we shall return. Your system is illegal because: 1. It fails to make reasonable provision for the disabled

@ukboomers I don't believe this story- no flatshares have living-rooms in Clapham, as every room possible is let as a bedroom.

We went to the Chelsea Flower Show last week and popped into our grandson's flatshare in Clapham afterwards. Four people sharing one bathroom. £1,200 a month for a single room. It looked dreadful. Of course there's a 65 inch television in the living room but none of them can afford a proper home. We didn't have a colour telly until 1979. Margaret gave Alfie a look. He still tells us he hasn't got a deposit. We didn't say a word. We didn't need to. 🇬🇧

@waynetlc @DaveKent101 Also things like road widenings next to old Churchyards have had the same effect. It’s just luck really if people are in an old protected cemetery that’s no longer in use for burials.

David Lammy and Labour are passing a law which means that existing graves can be exhumed and the bodies cremated so that they can be re-used by others. So who benefits from this - the religion that insists on burials and no cremations?🤔🤔🤔

@waynetlc @DaveKent101 In the Brighton case I think the fact it’s now owned by a private company rather than the council doesn’t help. A lot of councils I believe are reluctant as it’s a very emotive subject of course but when they run out of space…..

@waynetlc @DaveKent101 I have an ancestor buried in Brighton where the grave was reused by the time we tracked it down. My grandfathers grave is 75 years purchased in the 90’s but it looks like when you purchase a plot nowadays in the same place your exclusive right of burial is only 50 (also Sussex)

@anon_opin RIGHT?! And what monsters order fast food from a delivery service? It’s usually cold and stale in just the time it’s been sat waiting for final prep as Deliveroo man collects his >9000 orders. Can’t imagine the horror of paying for 30 minute old MacDonalds 🤮 #🐹

The whole point of a fast-food restaurant is that I should be able to get my food within a few minutes of ordering. This has become a thing of the past, thanks to the fifty Deliveroo men that haunt every single restaurant, and always get priority over the customers in store.

@anon_opin I remember the days when you just ordered your meal at a till, and the server reached behind, grabbed your chosen burger, picked up a bag of fries (while your drink poured,) and just handed them straight to you on a tray.

Having a summer baby am perpetually pissed off by my daughter being penalised for being born 6 weeks before school year starts. Kids are rewarded at her school for meeting targets and these miraculously all go to kids who's birthday is September to Jan 🙄

Some children are still 5 when they sit the test, it narrows the curriculum in many Reception and Year 1 classes. We also know from the data that the older you are, the more likely you are to pass, it seems being alive for longer is an important prerequisite for success.Who knew?

Working with seniors confirms how common chosen names are. Old blokes are like Hi I’m Jack and I can’t find their record so after quite some time they say Well it’s Robert. But I go by Jack. Because my middle name is John. Whatever queen live your truth

Good news. My suspension from being able to book classes at my gym has expired. It will though lie on my record & count against me ("antecedents") in the event of any future transgressions. I had mistakenly booked a 9.30 but attended the 10.30, blithely unaware of my error.
