Please help us bring attention to this. Overwatch’s ban and appeal system needs more transparency, not just for me, but for every player who could lose years of time, money, progress, and memories without receiving a clear explanation. My Overwatch account was permanently banned after a match was cancelled mid-game. My friend saw a “cheating detected” message, but the email I received referred generally to policies/conduct without clearly explaining the exact reason. I have never used cheats, did not throw or troll, and had voice/text chat disabled for weeks to avoid toxic interactions. I appealed twice, but the responses were still vague. How are players supposed to defend themselves without knowing exactly what they are accused of? @chrystasx @Mal1gno thx you so much for Helping him , my Account was banned to for no Reason too whatsoever 15 Years simply erased for nothing i coudnt speak or write with a Human beeing too

The amount of replies saying the same thing happened to them is unacceptable. In his case, I think a friend of his isn’t being honest about their RMT, & unfortunately, he got the splash back of the ban from ‘dirty gold’. Still, people shouldn’t have to beg on here to be seen.

@NianticHelp Dear niantic, there has been a ban wave affecting trainers that have been playing the game legitemately… i believe this should be addressed and further more your support needs to be more attentive. Accounts are being wrongfully banned and it is going to affect your plauer base
