Full video of my first @Waymo Miami ride yesterday. Most difficult part was getting out of the mall parking lot. Just posting from my phone no edits, so just watch in 2x speed after the first couple mins getting out of mall or just stop watching because nothing really happens 😂

I’ve paid $17,000 for FSD over 3 Teslas starting in 2018, even getting HW4 on last upgrade, yet I still don’t have what was promised for delivery 5 years ago. I don’t mind giving some leeway, but there has to be a breaking point. I guess you haven’t been around long enough to find yours. Lucky you.

@JustinHorn Your car is still getting updates. And Tesla has promised to update HW3 to meet unsupervised standards. Nobody else can say that, also I have had a Tesla before my 2026 Model Y.

Disagree. People that owned a 2018 are allowed to complain. Elon made a lot of promises for 2020 and then ever hear after that. People have given a lot of benefit of doubt, and still don’t have what was promised half way into 2026. I blame Elon solely for this problem, not the AI team.

@congressdj Sometimes even for a single stop, I can say the “such and such” location by XXXX street (or something like that), and it will pick the right one 99% of time. Instead of showing me a list with standard voice nav prompt.

@congressdj Not that often, but if I have a question that pops into my head I do. Or multiple stop routing has been cool most of the time.

@SantoroSystems I mean I don’t know who this is, but I assumed this based on the post. But I did ask @grok to look at the profile and let me know if they have a Tesla and Grok said Model Y 2026.

@JustinHorn That's not real right... There's no way his first Tesla was a 2026 and he's even talking.... I was wondering why I never heard of this guy before but based on what you're saying it's because they didn't own a Tesla 😂😂😂

@JCChristopher Respectfully disagree. For years I was chanting the Tesla will catch up to Waymo so quick and yet it’s 2026 and the only option for me in Miami is Waymo. It’s only not disappointing to Tesla fans that joined 2025 or later. And the culty / grifty people like Omar and Sawyer.

I see posts on X saying "robotaxi must not be ready to scale" and that "it's been disappointing", and that Elon and Tesla are moving the goalposts. I'm literally about to delete the X app off of my iPhone with this nonsense. Robotaxi is doing fine, and scaling at just the right speed. There is nothing disappointing about how this is going. We literally have 10 Teslas going around Austin right now with literally nothing but cameras and a computer chip. A year ago this was considered impossible, a "man will never fly" headline. Think about that for a minute. And now I am about to squash 89% of the posts here on X regarding how FSD is doing. I have done nearly 2,300 Uber rides, all 100% on FSD, and never once have I been asked to park, go into a parking garage, go through a drive through, go down a tight alley looking for crackheads to dart out behind a dumpster (and I do a lot of drives in neighborhoods with crackheads, hell some of them are my favorite passengers), asked to be in a specific lane on the road or them even care what lane you are in on the highway, etc. Tesla is being extremely cautious, judicious and deliberate with robotaxi. Bears and shorts are desperate for this thing to speed up, because that is their only hope. They know the tech is there, since there are 10 of them roaming around as we speak! They need something else. And anxious Tesla bulls are joining along. Fortunately, Tesla, and especially Elon, are just like Rhett Butler in Gone with the Wind, they just don't give a damn. Thank God!

@OverlyTrev Leave Tesla alone. We’ve been waiting to put are car into the Robotaxi network for like 6 years. You must be new 😆

I’m just going to say the hard truth. Some of the Tesla community is being EXTREMELY UNGRATEFUL! Tesla has been working their ass off on a huge update with reasoning in V14.3, and most people don’t even have it yet and already complaining! People are saying things like: -Sorry Tesla and Elon, it’s just not good enough. -We were supposed to be getting all this with V14.3! -Elon moving the goalpost. Give them a damn break. We literally can get in our cars and with a push of a button it takes us wherever we want to go. Tesla will NEVER stop innovating. There will be a FSD 15,16,17,18,19,20… forever. There will be an AI5,AI6,AI7,AI8… Why are we mad at them for committing to updating our cars? They literally have unsupervised cars operating in Austin but it’s only 9 right now, so I guess that just means nothing and isn’t good enough either. BE GRATEFUL FOR WHAT THEY HAVE DONE AND LOOK FORWARD TO WHAT IS COMING!
mr fundman@mrfundman

Sounds like moving goal post, FSD 14.3 was supposed to be all that, no? Now we wait for v15 .. by end of year.. ?

Today I went to car the wash with my Cybertruck and this dude pulled up next to me. He talked to me the whole time about his Cyberbeast (unprompted), showed me his Cybertruck fridge, and his 93% FSD percentage. If anyone needs insurance hit him up

$TSLA - base case right now is 270's by June, with a very good chance we are heading for 230 some time this summer ... gonna put my focus into better things than this, but good luck and I'll check in when I can 👍

@Michael_L_Rauch @Tesla From what I’ve seen it uses both. I know I turn off a 35MPH road onto a 40MPH and it still shows 35MPH. Then after passing the next speed limit sign it changes.

Question: how is @Tesla FSD determining speed limits? Is it map based or camera based seeing signs? If vision why does it think it’s 35mph in this stretch after passing 4 signs showing 55mph? I had to push accelerator to get up to speed as I was annoying people behind me.
