I just want to find a company that:
1. Doesn't Lie
2. Doesn't lead to the downfall of the world
3. Doesn't support meaningless wars
4. Follows US law
5. Does something genuienely meaningful
6. Doesn't trample on their competitors
7. Values human intelligence (people > AI)
Dennies meets this criteria more than NVIDIA does which fails on nearly all 7. It does follow 4 and 5. I'll give them that.

I read saw Nolan's "Odyssey" on Friday at 3am to 6am.
I couldn't sleep last night, so I read "The Odyssey" for 12 hours.
"What translation?" you ask. "Claude Opus 5" I answer.
I couldn't find a translation in the style I wanted, so I asked the AI to create one to my specifications.
- I don't want an effort trying to fit the english translation into poetic hexameter. I instead want just a literal translation -- just the prose, like in a novel.
- I don't want it updated to modern sensibilities, like Emily Wilson's "translation". That's not a translation but a rewrite. I want to see what the ancient Greeks saw.
- I wanted interruptions and footnotes, where a narrator steps in to explain things that modern readers wouldn't understand, as well as reminders of what they are talking about, such as "Earthbreaker" being synonymous with "Poseidon".
I generated one "book" (chapter) at a time since the AIs can't produce a long document as one step.
The timestamps of the files how how long it took me to read them before I finally dropped asleep in exhaustion.

Both Claude Code and Codex offer a "fast mode". Their best models both have context windows up to 1m tokens. Claude Code includes 1m token context windows in your subscription, but makes you pay for fast mode. Codex includes fast mode in your subscription, but makes you pay for higher context windows. I don't think this matters that much but I did find it interesting.
