mol.im/a/16007339 Assuming that these under-18s are living at home with their parents, what are they spending this £800 a month on? And are their parents also claiming for caring for a ‘disabled’ child, in which case how much do they get overall as a family?

@PolitlcsUK What is the point? What’s next… No 10 East? No 10 West? Ii adds zero value. Infact, it’s a bureaucratic cost. More tax wasted.

Madonna Shines in Star-Studded World Cup Final Halftime Show Madonna, 67, delivered a high-energy performance as part of the inaugural FIFA World Cup final halftime show at MetLife Stadium. The Queen of Pop recently released her new album Confessions II (a follow-up to her iconic 2005 record), which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 with 134,000 equivalent album units — her 10th chart-topping album and strongest opening week in years, driven by strong sales and her biggest streaming numbers to date. She shared the stage with a powerhouse lineup including Shakira, BTS, Justin Bieber, Burna Boy, and others in a celebration of music and global unity. (Video: AI) The Argentina vs. Spain final remains tied 0-0 as the second half gets underway. A thrilling finish awaits!

Tom Cruise Delivers Powerful Speech to Open World Cup Final Actor Tom Cruise took the stage to open today’s FIFA World Cup final, delivering a stirring message about the spirit of the game. Consolidated quote from his speech: “30 days ago, 48 nations began a journey. Together they showed why this game belongs to the world. Today only two teams remain. Let us celebrate a tournament that brought the world together. This is football. This is unity. And this, this is greatness.” (Video: AI) Cruise’s words captured the global power of soccer and the unifying force of sport. He’s right — unity is greatness.

The test of any Prime Minister is: do you leave your country in a better place than you found it? I’m proud that the answer is yes.

If you call yourself a patriot and you're cheering England tonight, you're cheering diversity A squad of black, brown, and white players. Different cultures. Different faiths. One team. Managed by a German: Thomas Tuchel. You can't celebrate the team & hate what made it.

Andy Burnham is now taking a few questions, albeit in highly controlled circumstances. He’s coming across as a bit Forrest Gump: well-meaning, naïve, uninformed. So let’s get real. Here’s a proper question about a huge issue. There are almost 11m people of working age in the UK who are economically inactive. Yet Skills England reports that construction is short of 1m workers to meet the current infrastructure and housing targets — and that’s before you include Mr Burnham’s plans for a massive council house building programme. It’s a clear sign of a labour market — skills shortage AND huge inactive labour pool — not functioning properly. It needs to be put right before we have any chance of decent growth. So, Mr Burnham, what would you do to put it right?

I’m sorry Ant but you should take the time to understand what actually took place with Shabir Ahmed before taking a position that his immediate (imminent) family members should also be deported. You clearly are not aware that his wife committed suicide after failing to protect her daughters. My understanding is this was despite the knowledge of the authorities. She drowned herself in the local boating lake. Nor, I suspect, are you aware that it was his daughters that repeatedly went to the police to try and have him arrested. My understanding is that because of what they risked, doing what they did, both girls went into some form of protective custody scheme and have had their identities changed. The deterrent when it comes to Shabir Ahmed is actually arresting and prosecuting the Labour Party politicians, public officials and police officers that protected him.

Justice for 20-year-old Cody Harper! He’s scheduled to appear at the Birmingham Magistrates’ Court on July 23rd on the false charges of assaulting a police officer. He risks around 6-12 months in prison if wrongfully convicted.

A brave group of hero neighbours rushed into a burning house to rescue 87-year-old Phyllis Day, who has Alzheimer’s. Phyllis was asleep and unaware that a fire had broken out at the back of her home. She had also removed her hearing aids, so she could not hear what was happening. Her daughter, Suzanne Wright, was alerted by her mother’s doorbell camera, which showed the hero neighbours trying to get inside. She was 15 minutes away at the time.
