@niccruzpatane @Drive_Protected The cost for a swap in Canada is 12-20k depending. If you upgrade to LFP you are also getting virtually all new suspension to handle the weight. Had a pack fail at 200k kms.

People always love to ask, "What are you going to do when the battery goes on your Tesla?" This 2019 Model 3 RWD owned by @Drive_Protected still had the ORIGINAL battery and rear motor after 381,000 miles (613,000 km). Even after all those miles, the battery retained 70% capacity. He decided to bring new life to the car by swapping the original NCA pack for a modern LFP pack from a newer Model 3. The original pack was still perfectly functional, the swap was just for performance. Swapping a battery in a Tesla is much quicker than people think. In just a few hours, the orginal battery was removed then replaced with a LFP pack. Once configured via the computer, the car is perfectly functional. There’s no huge mess, not a lot of wires, it’s actually very simple once you are experienced with it. His Model 3 now functions and charges like a newer car. Tesla vehicles are designed from the ground up to be very serviceable.

@togdog111 @DevinOlsenn @SortaMillennial It has nothing g to do with a gasket wearing out. This is caused by off gassing and is not related to use or wear and tear. You need your first cleaning like 6-7 months after the car rolls off the line.

@DevinOlsenn @SortaMillennial Gaskets and plastic wear out over time. Once it does, you pay to get it repaired/cleaned. Not sure what the freakout is over.

I had to get my front cameras cleaned yesterday and the cost estimate from Tesla was $77 I really disagree with charging customers who are subscribed to FSD for this service. It’s not my fault the glass is dirty, so why am I paying for it. Asking a customer to pull apart the camera housing and clean it themselves feels like a bit too much as well. Not trying to sound ungrateful at all here - but I really think this is something that should be reconsidered. @yunta_tsai @aelluswamy @Tesla_AI

@Bloodpack_1999 @saki_statements He’s not saying he drives 630km he’s multiplying the cycle count by the range. Which again is a cycle does not have to be 0% to 100%. His proposed design distance on battery literally has nothing to do with driving the car down to 0%.

@Bloodpack_1999 @saki_statements A charge cycle for a battery is fully dead to fully charged in any way meaning charging from 0%-100% or 70%-80% 10 times or any combination in between. It does not literally mean 0-100 every time for a full cycle.

If @MarathonTheGame can somehow find a way to optimize Marathon to run at 120 FPS on console instead of 60, player counts would genuinely skyrocket imo, it’s a lose-lose between pc and console as pc offers a smoother experience but with cheaters and console offers a safer place to play legit but at 60 FPS in 2026. If console had a 120 FPS option Marathon would see a rise in players who would switch back just to have a fair chance and an even playing field.

@John50741562276 @scottbuscemi I get out of my car turn around and plug it in, takes maybe 5 seconds. It takes 4 - 5 minutes to pull into a gas station (possibly even longer depending on where it’s located) to pump gas

@scottbuscemi The action you do to charge your Tesla takes about the same amount of time as the action it takes to fill a tank of gas. I generally like electric cars, but it being a time saver in the “filling up” is not a good point.

Highguard didn’t fail because everyone jumped into the “hate train” The game crossed almost 100k players within the first 24 hours of its launch and it was free, everyone who played it could’ve come back to play it again, however the game simply wasn’t fun to play for most of those who experienced it. That’s the issue with live service games, you either have to be extremely successful and retain a player base or you lose player count constantly creating a snowball effect leading to game servers being mostly empty. also The Game Awards didn’t do the game any favors

RIP Highguard aka Concord 2 Most of the developers behind Highguard have been laid off, just 16 days after release. It’s likely the game will not get any more updates and might get shut down soon. People losing their jobs is never a good thing, higher ups in this industry need to understand people do NOT want games like this anymore. Invest in creative ideas, new story games, new co-op games, new worlds. This has been Concord 2 when it could’ve been avoided and instead the team who worked on Titanfall could’ve made something people want to play rather than what would make money on paper, think Titanfall successor!
