@JacintaAllanMP It's a good thing you're taxing Victorians more and more to cover those trivial expenses and claiming a surplus.

The Reserve Bank’s decision to hike interest rates will hurt Australian families. It’s why governments’ have to do everything in their power to help ease cost of living right now.

@OtherSideAus Boomers are dying off and so becoming less significant as a voting demographic. Time for the government to start plundering their hard-earned 'wealth'.

BEWARE of the left’s latest made-up phrase: “INTER-GENERATIONAL EQUALITY” This is a phrase we are going to hear a lot as the federal budget is handed down in the week ahead. This concept is nonsense, but will be used to justify the government stealing even more money from ordinary mums and dads and grandparents, so they can take a big slice out of it, before what’s left is “given” back to their children and grandchildren as “government support”. Gen Y and Z will be spun the lie that they can’t buy a house because of Gen X and Boomers. The real reason is government theft, union grift, woeful energy policy, and incompetent economic management. The kids will fall for this diabolical trick because they have been deliberately badly educated about economics. They will not realise that it’s THEIR rightful family inheritance the government is stealing. The ‘bank of mum and dad’ is now being taken over by the government. The ‘interest rates and loan terms’ will be awful. And half the money will be wasted and “redistributed to those most in need”. Communist Australia is alive and well. @ellymelly @PoliBard @OneNationAus @LibertariansAus @GraemeHaycroft @GrahamY @shallowchal @TopherField @therealrukshan @OzraeliAvi @Thecalistacut @2worldsPodcast @TheMcMullan @ScottPelto @ljayes

Labor out here throwing around "budget surplus" like everything is fine and everyone will just forget exactly what they've been doing for this and their last term in government. Stop gaslighting people Labor. "Surplus" doesn't mean "out of debt". Victoria's debt is still $165 billion and our interest payments alone are $21 million per day.

Premier Allan says national cabinet DID agree.. that the states’ additional GST windfall from petrol prices should be returned to motorists… by further lowering the price at the bowser. Not - as widely reported - that Victoria was an outlier wanting a different approach.

Surely the Articles of Association of the Liberal Party of Victoria have a mechanism to remove the executive committee. If not, the Liberal Party of Victoria deserve to be demolished at the upcoming election. If so, an extraordinary general meeting needs to be called forthwith to expunge the cancer.

Bed-wetter Phil Davis, who leads @LiberalVictoria, has been targeting top spots held by conservative women: Moira Deeming, Renee Heath, Bev McArthur and Ann-Marie Hermans- all competent and popular politicians. He was targeting them because they were the wrong kind of women: they worked for their electorates and weren't sops to the misogynist bed wetters that infest the Liberal Party. But he wanted to roll Deeming above all. Recall Phil Davis's history: he only got a seat in the legislative council by sucking up to an upper house member from Warragul. When that member retired, he cleared the way for Davis to take his spot. While in Parliament, Davis did absolutely nothing but issue press releases and play politics. His list of achievements are as vacant as his list of principles. Once his parliamentary pension was assured, he sold his merino breeding business, which he never did run properly, and coasted along until he retired from parliament, after which he weazeled his way into the presidency of the Victorian Liberal Party. Under his presidency the Victorian Liberal Party organisation has bled members, money and credibility. Phil Davis is way past his due date and heavily on the nose. He is the clown that oversaw the Pesutto debacle in which senior Liberal Party figures knowingly and willingly lied and defamed and sought to destroy three innocent women - @MoiraDeemingMP above all. He is the clown that opted to spend 1.5 million dollars of members money bailing out Pesutto after a court found Pesutto defamed @moiradeemingmp and owed damages and 97% costs. Davis is the clown that found candidates of the calibre of rat-tolerant, groomer-befriending Dinesh Gourisetty who is "dedicated to enhancing multicultural representation in Australian politics" (dineshgourisetty.com/entrepreneuria…) and engaging in revisionist history. Forget his commitment to ethics above rats, Gourisetty told the court that groomer and child sex offender Patel was "extremely sorry" for what he had done, while telling the Liberal Party state executive that he had been "led to believe" Patel was "contesting the charges and maintaining his innocence" at the time he signed the letter, that he had "no knowledge of the seriousness or full nature of the allegations," and that he only acted in "good faith" based on his personal experience with Patel as a friend and party volunteer. Davis is the clown who has probably kept Patel on the books as a Liberal Party member. Phil Davis and all four VPs of @LiberalVictoria must go and must go today - not tomorrow, not next week - today.
Timjbo 🇦🇺@TimjboAU

@VICLiberalTeam, why is Phil Davis still president? His position is untenable.

If this National Address is the attempt by @AlboMP to imitate Winston Churchill, to position himself as a statesman, to unite us as our inspirational, motivational “father of the nation”- he’s gotta be kidding. Maybe one of his minions has unearthed a movie or political speech he can plagiarise. Ronald Reagan’s “The most terrifying words in the English language are: I'm from the government and I'm here to help." Or maybe “you can’t handle the truth” ! I reckon he should consider “The way to get started is to quit talking and begin doing." Pass the popcorn

Our natural resources are one of Australia’s greatest strengths, and it’s time we used them. I’m 100% committed to reversing the damage Labor has done to our mining and energy sectors, which is critical to restoring Australians’ standard of living. Under a Coalition Government we will dig, drill and pay down the debt bill.

I'm convinced that it's grubby politics. There is no way that Gourisetty could have survived to be the candidate. If his flaws hadn't come out now, they would have come out later and the Victorian Liberal Party Executive would have been free to nominate their own candidate. Anyone but Deeming. They are just circling the wagons around Pesutto. The Victorian Liberal Party presents as a bunch of unprincipled mates solely intent on protecting each other. I won't be voting for them.

Hypothetically that the preselection win for Dinesh Gourisetty was a means of paying back the money given by Dinesh Gourisetty to John Pesutto. Kind of like payment for preselection whilst knocking off Deeming, the person who has caused Pesutto so much financial and reputational grief whilst harbouring sectarian ethnic voting blocks. Really corrupt and dirty

💀WHO KNEW?💀 Developing news on the Dinesh Gourisetty fallout, it has been rumoured that members of the Victorian Liberal Party Executive personally endorsed his candidacy leading into the preselection battle with Moira Deeming. Whether they knew he provided a reference to a convicted child sex offender remains an open question, but not knowing this is itself an indictment on them. However, they did know of his past health code violations, his questionable business history and the fake charities he purported to run. I can reveal today the members of the State Executive who endorsed Dinesh Gourisetty: 👉Cathrine Burnett - Migration Agent 👉Karyn Sobels - Risk Manager 👉Geoff Gledhill - Fmr Councillor investigated by IBAC 👉Marg Hawker - Liberal Women's Chair 👉Stephen Brooks - Northern Upper House Candidate Questions need to be asked of senior leadership within the party about whether they were aware of these allegations before endorsing Gourisetty. If they were not aware, how could they in good conscience endorse a man with a track record of disregarding the law and a past so opaque and shady that scandal was seemingly inevitable? The rot goes all the way to the top.
Skull@SkullSpeedDeal

💀SKULL EXCLUSIVE💀 We have acquired a copy of the character reference Dinesh Gourisetty sent in defence of his child pimping friend. KEY POINTS - Dinesh acknowledges the charges of child grooming. - He blames his friends actions on Covid lockdowns. - Said he would continue to trust him as a friend. This is completely disqualifying. The Liberal Party should not tolerate people of this low character in the party, let alone as a parliamentary representative.

I'm led to believe there were some very dirty tactics used to oust Moira Deeming. Whatever the truth behind the scenes, one thing is clear: there is no room for principled people within the modern Victorian Liberal Party. Any one who still believed they could be 'saved from the inside' has their answer: they will fight you tooth and nail with every trick, fair or foul, including defamation in the case of Moira Deeming, and even if you win, as Moira did, they will still find a way to knife you. There is no longer any doubt in my mind, the Victorian Liberal Party is utterly irredeemable. Do with that what you will.

It's apparent to me that there are two opposing factions within the Victorian Liberal Party. I don't know how much of it is political differences and how much is personal animosity but if nothing gives and they keep fighting amongst themselves, in my humble opinion, the party is not suitable to govern the state.
