@MaryGElliott@FFRoyallty@thetomcelica@ksorbs I might be grammatically correct, but it's not the Queen's English, is it.
So a better question, how do you leftists maintain a leftist ideology in the face of all of your contradictions?
@Trevornoah Do we say “Lock your doors”because everybody’s thief?
Or is it because thief’s exist.
And saying every woman you know has been sexually assaulted is a lie 😂.
Or
@FFRoyallty@thetomcelica@ksorbs I remember them being given a tour between the red velvet ropes, and I remember the FBI guy out there pushing for it, and I remember Pelosi reversing the National Guard before hand. And I remember Trump endorsing peaceful protests the the BBC edited out and got caught for.
Why do people write tweets like this?
Where every sentence gets a new line.
Sometimes a line might have two sentences. Like this one.
But generally speaking, every sentence has a new line, making a tweet look like a long block of text that no one reads.
Worse still, such tweets are often repetitive and winding, hammering on the same point over and over again.
The writing is often very bad.
People used to condense knowledge into paragraphs, and write books or articles.
Poetry—with our without rhyme—has always existed, mind you.
Free verse poetry is no stranger to any English 101 student.
The greatest measure of intelligence is the ability to state something simply, and correctly.
Arguably, poetically.
We live in the age of intellectual compression, and it makes us light enough to operate coherently amongst the stars.
If you have learned to condense an idea that could be a paragraph into a sentence, you break it up so people can absorb it.
The physical separation means it's a pause, and this is how short form online discourse has worked for all 30 years I've been online—from chat rooms to forums, and social media.
Welcome to the free verse club.
@Libuse_Carodej since you joined twitter on dec 2022, you've tweeted 195,700 times. assuming you sleep 8 hours a day, that's about 162 times per day. or roughly a new tweet every four mins, every day, for the last four years.
how do you have time to be a writer?
@MetamateDaz She’s already given away $26 billion and plans to keep doing it for the rest of her life.
But sure, let’s punish her for being rich.
Brilliant strategy: reduce her net worth so there’s less money available to donate. That’ll definitely help.
You're a fucking retard.
MacKenzie Scott divorced Jeff Bezos and got $36 billion in the divorce.
She has donated $26 billion to charity since then.
She’s now worth $42 billion, six billion MORE than when she started
TAX THE BILLIONAIRES. THEY’LL BE FINE.
@magi_jay If this is your read on Obama's presidency then you've been propagandized. Obamacare sucked, it was a forced mandate to private insurers and his climate change legislation was worthless. There wasn't a problem with racism until Omaba's SPLC started paying for it either.
It did feel awesome. With cause. We got healthcare. LGBTQ people could get married. Racial justice advanced. Climate change was being addressed. We almost had a 6-3 liberal Supreme Court. And then people decided to burn it all down because it wasn't exciting enough.
@NC_Renic Why not embrace AI then and make it about who can do the best essays using AI? Eventually the essays will average out in grade and only exceptional essays which combine AI and the student's personal effort will get top grades
@andyowa97@eattherich6969_@groypocalypse@weijia@PinoAmericano Do you think this is institutional and deliberate, or the natural consequence of being in a prison environment?
(Remember, similar bad things happen in regular American prisons and jails, too.)
The Hilton donated the ~2600 dinners that went unserved at WHCD. They freeze dried the steak and lobster for longer shelf life before giving them to 2 shelters for abused women and children. HUGE thank you to the staff that worked through the night under terrible circumstances.
