No I work in retail where I can quite literally see how much money I’m making the company. I’ll do anywhere between $600 and $2000 in a 5hr shift while only making $71. It’s more radicalizing to see the dramatic extent at which your surplus labor is being extracted

i think so much of the weirdness here is that the AIs output is presented in a text format, and so we carry over the expectations we have for humans communicating in writing, but actually the reality is something closer to a voice format for the AI

i use it 100% for log analysis, i have to sift through tons of logs and i hate manually doing this with cmtrace (windows sysadmin).
so i have some .sh files where it's like, ok run this script, then pipe it into a gemini sh command, and have it analyze the logs for me and spit out a .txt file or something. then i can just read the .txt file and get a general idea if something broke, what caused it.

His engineers said they needed more people to run shifts. 48 hours later, SpaceX had hired 252 workers and doubled the factory workforce. Most companies and CEOs would have scheduled a planning meeting to discuss the staffing gap and take weeks to hire those people. But Elon just did that within 2 days.

@HazelAppleyard @avi_eisen You could talk to the bank and set up massive automated asset purchases. Just need that process to always work, without ever having an outage last more than 4 days. You can also make a donation to the IRS of any size. Good to have that as a fallback if you just need to burn money
