@longshawtee @scottlincicome And on the sender side, the tariff isn’t even the biggest issue - its increased shipping cost and having to use a licensed broker to file a formal entry. Small biz can’t afford it, customers don’t want to pay extra, and brokers don’t really want to deal with it.

This was a complete FAFO move. Basically what happened to us and everyone else is that we need(ed) proof that nothing we sell originates from China. Bear in mind these packages were already sent with no declarations of country of origin or HS codes. Complete sh*t show ensued.

@howserob @devonwhittle The WTO was created to be a tariff liberalizing organization. It has struggled to do much to reduce tariffs on goods. But it 100% should not be about creating new ways to charge tariffs on things that are currently duty free.

Lifting moratorium simply allows policy experimentation-doesn’t dictate 1 approach.
