In the last few years of my 22-year Army career I was a Public Affairs Officer. This is the most unprofessional and disgraceful press release I have ever seen in my life. They are torturing a family and releasing information without any official confirmation. Who is running the DOD public affairs? What kind of an idiot authorized this stupid statement? CBS obtained video of the DHS killing of an unarmed man in Texas that DHS concealed for nearly a year, which clearly contradicts claims that he violently rammed anyone. He is shot with his brake lights on, car not moving or barely moving. Another DHS crime.

I am a Muslim woman and I proudly serve in the Georgia State Senate. I am outraged that my own colleague would make this disgusting Islamophobic video. When I confronted Dolezol on the Senate floor, he had nothing to say and looked away. .@DolezalForGA is a coward. If this your political strategy to win a primary it reeks of desperation. Muslim Americans are not outsiders. We are Georgians. We are doctors, teachers, small business owners, veterans, parents, and public servants including in this legislature. When elected officials spread conspiracy theories about Muslims, they don’t just embarrass our state they put real people at risk. Georgia deserves leaders who focus on solving real problems not politicians who try to score points by scapegoating their neighbors because of their faith.

Here are the FACTS. On February 19, 2026, Buffalo Police Department alerted Border Patrol about a non-citizen in their custody. Our agents confirmed that Mr. Shah Alam entered the United States as a refugee on December 24, 2024, and was not amenable to removal. Border Patrol agents offered him a courtesy ride, which he chose to accept to a coffee shop, determined to be a warm, safe location near his last known address, rather than be released directly from the Border Patrol station. He showed no signs of distress, mobility issues, or disabilities requiring special assistance.
