@jessfraz Still a very sketchy move, but we need to clarify what this clickbait, paywalled article actually says (summary from Reddit)

seems a bit hypocritical that the folks who scraped all the internet to train their models, now want a cut of what it creates, but aren't willing to pay for what they scraped...?

This is Brown University’s chapter of Party for Socialism and Liberation, and yes, this is real and not satire. “Do you support Maduro?” is “the wrong question” and “an insult to the intelligence of the working class.” The real test is “Do you support imperialism?” Then come the oil-war monologue, “war stains our souls,” and the recruitment closer. Different flag, same script. The point isn’t Venezuela or Palestine — it’s recruitment and escalation. “The issue is never the issue. The issue is always the revolution.”

@BestMovieMom It’s smoke that gets you, not the nicotine. There’s no such thing as healthy herbal alternatives to cigarettes (tobacco is herbal as well).

Cillian Murphy is a non-smoker, yet he smoked over 3,000 cigarettes per season filming Peaky Blinders (2013). Fortunately, they were herbal rose cigarettes containing no tobacco. Murphy joked he would have died otherwise.

Designed around real customer feedback. The new ID. Polo interior introduces a completely reworked cockpit architecture with intuitive operation, physical buttons, and high-quality, sustainable materials. A clear horizontal layout, improved usability, and smart software features enhance comfort — from one-pedal driving to advanced parking assistance and the next generation of Travel Assist. A special detail adds character: with a single touch, the digital cockpit switches to retro displays inspired by the first Golf. #Volkswagen #IDPolo #ALittleExtra

@robertgraham The foreign person is right. The hive mind includes every hacker, Apple engineer, telco engineer, radio engineer, intelligence person and IT forensic tool developer in existence. I wouldn’t trust airplane mode against this kind of knowledge either.

The foreign person didn’t want to use the phone for translation. Carol protested “but it’s on airplane mode!” Yup, as you can see in the screenshot, no WiFi or cellular is needed for translation to work.

So, this TV series #Pluribus goes heavy into the translation capabilities of the latest iPhone. I was wondering how much Apple had to pay for the product placement. Oh, wait, it's an Apple TV series. (Their translation feature is pretty great, btw).

@ExpeditionAudi @SnazzyLabs @BridgetPhetasy What do you think we should do if it kills pedestrians? You can’t really arrest corporation, maximum you can do is fine them. I’m all for supervised FSD where driver is responsible, but I’m against FSD with corporate liability.

@SnazzyLabs @BridgetPhetasy I still don’t like corporate liability when it comes to safety. Nobody goes to prison, they will just pay few millions and move on if something goes wrong.

@BridgetPhetasy Because the former has strict liability assumed by the operator and the latter does not. Hope this clears things up.

@Jordan_W_Taylor Very few of them are well designed. Most of them are just flapping around and get in your way while drinking. I’m getting to like ones with good design that stay in place.

@fridaycigarette No, we're SOC 2 compliant. We have a system that looks for injection attacks and flags it to us. Asking to dump all the prompts sets it off.

@StopAI_Info There won’t be any artificial superintelligence anytime soon. We don’t know how to make one. What you are protesting against are LLMs that are as harmful to humanity as regular book on your desk is. You are wasting everyone’s time.

Our public defender successfully subpoenaed Sam Altman to appear at our trial where we will be tried for non-violently blocking the front door of OpenAI on multiple occasions and blocking the road in front of their office. All of our non-violent actions against OpenAI were an attempt to slow OpenAI down in their attempted murder of everyone and every living thing on earth. This trial will be the first time in human history where a jury of normal people are asked about the extiction threat that AI poses to humanity. sfgate.com/tech/article/o…

Hey Ultra users, we hear you - and we’ve doubled your Deep Think limit from 5 to 10 queries per day. Thanks for all your feedback, now you have even more room to explore. Enjoy!
Google Gemini@GeminiApp

The wait is over: Deep Think is here. At I/O, we previewed the frontiers of Gemini’s thinking capabilities. Now, @Google AI Ultra subscribers can experience it in the Gemini app. With Deep Think, Gemini 2.5 is able to intelligently extend its "thinking time" so it can generate multiple, parallel streams of thought simultaneously. Similar to the way humans brainstorm when they need to tackle complex problems that require creativity or strategic planning. Wondering how that thinking time makes a difference? Check out these examples 🧵
