To everyone who has reached out after we received our notice of ineligibility—thank you.
Your messages, prayers, and encouragement have meant more to our family than words can express.
We have seen many people urging us not to give up. We are deeply grateful. But we are not victims, and we do not want anyone to feel sorry for us. This chapter is now closed, and we accept the decision with dignity. We trust that God's plan is greater than our own, even when we do not understand it.
For now, we will continue farming in South Africa—the country we love and have always called home. We never wanted to leave our homeland. Our decision to seek refuge came from concerns for our family's future and safety, including our experience of race-based policies and the hostile rhetoric directed at some white South Africans.
Those concerns remain real to us, but we refuse to live in bitterness or hatred.
We have one simple request: don't pity us. Instead, keep an eye on us, keep us in your prayers, and continue to stand with all families who simply want to live and work in peace.
We place our future in God's hands. Whatever comes next, we will meet it with faith, hard work, and hope.

Some have started receiving ineligibility notices by WhatsApp. Read that again... Imagine being approved or even under review for a year only to have an official partner of the United States Government (greatest government on the planet) send you a WhatsApp message telling you you've been found ineligible.
Now imagine you've been told to be ready to depart in a few weeks & have sold up everything you owned in preparation, only to be sent an ineligibility communication. Please, take a moment & fully, deeply conceive this... Imagine the horror, fear & new insecurity you now face, the prospect of homelessness, the battle to feed your loved ones, the concern that medical needs may arise... Try to fathom the depth of the hopelessness & despair that many now wake up to daily, it is a crushing, terrible feeling that cannot be escaped, as bad as the terror we were trying to flee but instead inflicted by malicious, spiteful people who wormed themselves into in positions of power merely to undermine a program they don't approve of. @POTUS @SecRubio @SecMullinDHS @USCISJoe A tragedy is unfolding that only people entrusted with positions of power can correct. God has raised you up for moments like this, perhaps for this very moment. We trust you will do what is right, what is good in your eyes. May God guide you.
