The maturation of this space has been steadily accelerating since it first made global waves in 2021 Those within it — artists, patrons, participants, platforms and teams — continue to evolve and build more useful, beautiful and interesting things that exceed previous standards of being "good enough" for CT There are vast numbers of people not yet "here" that are increasingly signalling preference & openness for what crypto, blockchains and digital assets uniquely offer Bridges and infra are being built to and from this industry to support, connect and empower both groups Despite the setbacks and volatility crypto & digital art markets have endured, the stage has never been set this optimally before The future is bright and exciting

Two different maps. You're pointing at the Foundation, I'm pointing at builders. In the last year alone: blobs made onchain art affordable, storage tooling like SSTORE2 made full generative works viable onchain, Art Blocks Studio put that in artists' hands, and Base pulled a wave of creators back. The innovation didn't stop. It stopped being top-down. The people still building are here because they care. As someone still in it, the last two years are the healthiest I've seen. I know a lot of the hype and mania are gone, but long term that feels so much better for the space.

@phraze @eli_schein @ethlabs_org Please tell me that innovation you speak of. Eth foundation has lost most of their top devs. I want Eth to work and we would be happy to help but there’s a lack of leadership.

Gm @ethlabs_org - Let’s make Ethereum the foundational rails for the contemporary art market. Some of the most important contemporary art of our time already lives on Ethereum. These artists use Ethereum’s unique properties to create works that explore ideas, provenance, networks, and permanence in ways that simply aren’t possible elsewhere. At the same time, the $60B art market still relies on outdated infrastructure for payments, settlement, and ownership. Ethereum is uniquely positioned to modernize those rails too. I’d love to build this future together. 🙏
